I’ll tell you why.
I’ve been trying to become an animal officer for about six years. I got close once, I passed the test, but the interviewer said my job history was too spotty. I’ve applied to other animal related jobs to try and get an in, but no luck. Today, I got an email saying I’ve been selected for the written test. Only problem is, it’s scheduled on a day I’m in New York. There’s only one test, no rescheduling.
I’ve had this trip planned since Christmas, it was a Christmas gift from my mom. Family vacation, go to my cousins wedding, take my husband who’s never been.
Now..... what do I do?
I just dipped my brownie ice cream in my peanut butter ice cream. 😫😫😫😫😫

If you practice your body, your body should have a balance of softness and strength. If you practice your mind, you should be more able to control the fluctuations of your thoughts. Yoga practice, from apractice. practical point of view, you can use your body to become stronger and stronger, and whether your thoughts are getting more and more calm to measure whether you have made progress. if there is not? Think about whether your practice.

Most of us try to make our practice look impressive but there's really no benefit if we end up in pain! Upward Facing Bow (or Wheel, for mortals like me) is such a tricky asana... There are A LOT of things going on, especially with the upper back and the hips. It might seem like the lower back is doing the job, but if it is, then the compression ends up being so strong that you start hating backbends.
If you're currently an intermediate/advanced yoga student, I recommend the "50 Min Backbend Class" from @fightmasteryoga.

I’ve struggled for years with opening up to enjoying life. I always felt that life was supposed to be hard, because mine was, for many reasons. But there is so much beauty and grace to one’s life. I have learned so much through the darkest times. And I have grown from, what I’m okay with calling, rock bottom. That’s the beauty of it. Our lives can be anything we make them. We decide how our lives unfold and what we react to. Some days it is hard, I mean “I don’t know if I can do this” hard, but those days make the easy ones that much easier.
Life is but a wheel. It continues to turn. Despite the bumps and road blocks, it will turn as long as you’re willing to turn it. So, please, keep turning. You were put on this earth for good purpose. Keep turning until you find it, and then never stop turning. 🔄
