Skogafoss up close and personal. The only way to avoid the crowds of people to snap a photo in the summer 😊.
Broken earth - I’ve been bringing super glue every time I pass by here to try and fix this little crack. Slowly closing it up
Getting in touch with the nature 🚣♀️ ❄️
Found this cutie sun bathing amongst the the floating glaciers
day thirty six: windy Reykjavík
the morning routine is coming back and by that I mean workshops with participants in the morning and (trying) going to sleep early. That’s my thing.
Had breakfast as per usual but changing now into oatmeal with cinnamon and apple just because maybe it’s time to not eat that much bread and be a bit healthier again.
Today we had the first workshop and I am so happy cause most of them seem to be really interested in photography and talk and ask questions which leads to a general better understanding of the matter.
After the long workshop we’ve had quick salad for lunch because afterwards most of them were leaving to Hot River Hike excursion. It was a sunny day so really good for this excursion but also really windy. Temperatures are going down now!
I went downtown Reykjavík with two participants and been showing them around some interesting points as well as the lovely souvenir shop were I bought postcards yesterday. The man in there is so friendly and it’s always a pleasure to go there and talk a bit.
Back at the house while the two participants started cooking the others arrived. They enjoyed it a lot and this is the best. Then we’ve all had dinner together and everything was so delicious (Corean & Hong Kong food)!
Later we went outside to check for Aurora even knowing that the forecast was really low but the sky was pretty clear.. but we ended up not seeing it. Hope we will be lucky enough to see it someday soon. Stay tuned for more!

Hello Iceland…✨🧡 It’s a dream come true to finally explore this part of the world – Our journey began in the west where we explored areas of Iceland with a rich heritage and met storytellers to learn how Icelanders have lived over the centuries. It’s been so inspiring to hear the stories of this land and discover the Icelandic way of life – So much more to share! x

Mud cauldrons, steaming vents, mineral deposits, piping fumaroles and a powerful stench of sulphur right here 👆
Are you ready for the winter in Iceland?
The winter weather can be extremely beautiful 😍
Hallgrimskirkja church is one of the most popular location in downtown Reykjavik. From there you can walk to all the best restaurants and shops.
Using the last good weather, winter is coming.
And sometimes just sometimes you are able to check a “retake” off your list 😻. So I do this thing when I decide I want to travel somewhere. I look up amazing pictures of places not many ppl have been...(aka mostly the brave, traveling photographer) I then research the are and roughly base the outline of my trips around these amazing places. I’ve come to realize the older I get the more isolated I enjoy my trips to be. Im not going on these trips to be a tourist I’m going on them to be an explorer, student, observer, of a place unknown to me. So cheers to one of my many “retakes” that happened along this trip...(also one of my favs) thank you @northlandscapes
for providing such amazing inspiration to chase!! Here’s to spending a lifetime”retaking” and “creating” as many of these moments as I can 📸👽🇮🇸📸
Mountain biking dedication. @nannyagudmundsdottir
trying to stay on the trail. It might be time to switch to ski mode soon.
Nú er önnur falleg vika að byrja og þá er að sjálfsögðu opið inn til okkar til klukkan 6✨ #shoes #kronstore #camper
