Every hunt, no matter what it is for or how it turns out, should be both enjoyable and memorable. Despite the fact that my last bow kill had no antlers, I think it will go down as one of my favorite hunts of the year because the overall experience was so new and exciting. It was my first time hunting out of a tree saddle (which was a blast in and of itself), and after I was able to get a shot on her, I had to pack her out over a mile in the dark by myself on public land - which all just added to the experience. It was a great hunt and a great experience, as well as a great reminder that inches aren’t everything, but rather the memories created from the hunt are!
What do you guys prefer to sit over? Clover? Brassica mix? Wheat? Corn? Let’s hear it⬇️
When I’m not hunting, I’m usually doing something hunting-related to pass the time until I can go hunting. 🦌🐗
It’s cold and rainy here in Texas today...officially feels like deer season! When you bring down the big one this year, this wall pedestal type of mount is just one of the many options you have when selecting your pose for your mount.
With upland season in full swing we can’t help but reminisce on the great deer season we had this year.
Carson and his father Kyle both harvested beautiful whitetail bucks. They were ecstatic that they could share this great adventure together. Great shooting brought their bucks down with ease and they went to work notching the tag and prepping to transport home.
Along with Carson and Kyle, the rest of the crew all tagged out as well. Whitetail and mule deer. For some of these gents it was their first buck ever! Naturally, these wonderful first buck stories will be retold time and time again.
Great deer season everyone! Thank you for all your hard work! .
