Celebrated International Rosé Day at my favorite wine bar last night.
A monumental Weißburgunder that goes down like water with its 13.5%. The only thing that we want to be creamy at the moment is our ice cream, but this Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) is so balanced in its opulence that we suddenly changed our minds.
A very aromatic lime and pear nose. Captivating and creamy with sufficient acidity on the palate. Juicy quince, subtle florals and an animating herbal note. Slightly reductive flint notes and a light caramel touch in the finish.
The Wagram region is actually known for melting Grüner Veltliners, but Weißburgunder, Traminer and the rare Roter Veltliner are also capable of great things when grown on the loess soils there.
P.S. Do you recognize this building in Vienna?

Thank you so much !
This wine is such a guilty pleasure that it should be behind bars...of chocolate! Thanks to its heavier body, rich texture, and notes of vanilla and gingerbread, this late harvest wine finds its ultimate calling in the bittersweetness found in dark 🍫.
It's not a coincidence that our 750ml Water Bottles hold an entire bottle of wine... 🍷 Cheers to Wine Wednesday! TAP TO SHOP or visit 👉🏼 shopstateofgrace.com

Even the streets are adorable! Currently obsessing over the bougainvillea that line the streets of San Miguel, a small colonial town in central Mexico 🇲🇽 #TravelDotToDotDoesSanMiguel
