Left photo- Sun kissed skin smoothed out with the help of the indoor lighting. Hair combed well. People would probably say I look “cute”. 😚
Right photo (6 hours later): Irritated skin with visible bumps, pores, and little lines due to shower steam and bathroom lighting. Thinning of hair is more noticeable. It was a long day. 😩
Everyone’s looks constantly change and are dependent on variables like lighting, time of day, your mood, and even just the way you tilt your head. Do I often look in real life how I look on Instagram: ABSOLUTELY NOT.
And that’s okay. Because that’s the case for literally everyone. Should looks be so much of a priority anyway?
As I’ve matured, I’ve learned to obsess less about how people perceive my looks, and to care more about spending time with people who could care less. 🤝
