Don’t be too jealous of my breakfast, I know it looks super appetising 😳🤷🏻‍♀️ I actually made this delish salad yesterday, full of roast veges, goats feta, salad greens, mint, avocado... but I forgot to photograph it. If there’s no photo, clearly it never happened 😂 Listened to an interesting pod cast on intermittent fasting yesterday...I didn’t realise that most of the research and stats to do with this have been done on men. I definitely recommend giving it a listen, even if you disagree /agree or are on the fence about this style of eating, it’s good to hear the perspective of these women who work in the health industry. Need to do some exercise, have been totally slack last couple of weeks with exams and trying to settle Henry back into a good routine, that my exercise has slipped. I’m more easily irritated and more sensitive (especially to those people who are more insensitive - doesn’t bode well when I have a few of those types in my life 🤦🏻‍♀️😂). Exercise is great for keeping my emotions in check and me out of prison. (Took a nice stroll down my street yesterday afternoon to calm down and even that helped 😂🙃). Anyway, hey hey it’s FRIYAY! When something happens, owning your own feelings (instead of putting up a block - turning things around and putting them back on the other person) is far more healthy and productive in our interactions with others. It is far better to stop, pause for a second and look at the situation and why you feel that way - so in other words to look inwards, rather than blame another person or the external situation. Minor disputes also get settled far more calmly and quickly when we stop to look at our part in the feelings and speak calmly and honestly. Communication or MIScommunication is the biggest problem between people, when you stop, take an honest look at both the internal and external situation it becomes much easier 😊. Going forward this leads to much simpler and smoother lives as you are moving from judgement to understanding 🙏🏻😊. A veces una receta no nos dice mucho; A la hora de armar un plato completo y nutritivo, nuestra imaginación y recursividad a veces no juegan a nuestro favor y nos quedamos cortos en opciones. Por esta razón me encanta compartirles mis platos: para darles herramientas e ideas de cómo ustedes en casa pueden armar sus comidas, con los ingredientes y recursos que tienen a mano, en sus hogares o cerca de ellos... porque como dice una hermosa amiga mía: todo lo que necesito está en mi casa. No hay necesidad de ir a comprar y comprar cosas costosas, que a veces ni usamos y a la hora de la verdad no nos dan la satisfacción que a veces estábamos esperando (porque por lo general siempre estamos creando grandes expectativas sobre todo 😔). Pero a veces las grandes cosas no requieren sino de lo esencial, como por ejemplo este plato de hoy; un plato un que reúne las tres B’s: bueno, bonito y barato. Estaba de locos 🤤Lo hice en muy poco tiempo con ingredientes bastante accesibles para la gran mayoría, que por tres pesos podemos comprar en la plaza o frutería de nuestro barrio. Y lo mejor: lo nutritivo y balanceado! 🍃En la base: un mix de Lechuga Romana y Rúgula, con un poco de sal & aceite de oliva. 🍃 Una ensalada de Quinua con Tomate & Aguacate, cuya receta estará pronto publicada en mi página. 🍃Rábano rojo marinado con sal & limón 🍃 Brócoli al vapor con un poco de salsa Pesto. 🍃Lonjas de Zanahoria 🍃Y Hummus (la receta está en mi página o me lo piden y yo se los llevo a la puerta de su casa). Homemade sweet potato & rosemary soup, not made by me for once but by @mrnathancrick 👨🏼‍🍳 Super yum & super easy, perfect for a wintery day ❤️ 2 tsp olive oil 1 onion, chopped 3 garlic cloves 750g sweet potato, peeled and cubed 1l vegetable stock 2 rosemary sprigs Ciabatta Heat the oil in a large saucepan, then fry the onion until soft. Crush 2 garlic cloves, add to the onion, then fry for 1 min more. Stir in the sweet potato, then cover with the stock and bring to the boil. Strip the leaves from one of the rosemary sprigs, then add to the pan. Simmer for 10 mins until the potato is soft. Meanwhile, heat oven to 200C/ fan 180C/gas 6. Place the bread on a baking sheet, then brush with olive oil. Slice the remaining garlic clove in half, then rub the cut side over the bread along with the leaves from the second rosemary sprig. Season, then bake for 10 mins until crisp and golden. Use a hand blender to roughly purée the soup, adding a splash of hot water if it seems too thick. Season well, then pour into warmed bowls and serve with the toasts.

Pra quem não dispensa um pãozinho de manhã, com esse aqui vapt-vupt, fofinho e SUPER do bem, vc não precisará nem sair pra comprar os industrializados e cheios de ingredientes ruins que não contribuem em nada na sua saúde! PÃO INTEGRAL de LIQUIDIFICADOR  sem gluten, sem lactose 1 ovo 1/2 xíc de azeite de oliva 1 xíc leite de amêndoas morno (ou outro) 1 col sopa de açúcar demerara 1 col de chá de sal 1 pacotinho de fermento granulado para pão Bater todos ingredientes no liquidificador e adicionar: 2 col de sopa de biomassa Bater novamente e adicionar: 2 xíc de farinha de aveia 1 xíc de farinha de arroz integral Colocar em forma para pão e deixar descansar até dobrar de tamanho (eu ligo o forno e deixo a forma em cima do fogão para ter um ambiente quentinho) depois de crescido, pincele azeite e salpique algumas sementes da sua preferência por cima. Aqui tem girassol, chia e aveia. Levar ao forno pré aquecido a 180 graus por cerca de 35 mim ou até o palito sair limpo e dourar a superfície. This weeks meal prep is definitely a fav of mine. This quesadilla consists of 2 @sietefoods cassava tortillas (my fav!) + basil pesto + spinach + goat cheese + pulled lemon chicken (in the slow cooker!) + sliced tomato + sautéed sweet potatoes and peppers on the side! Se viene el Dia de la Madre ❤️ y yo estoy pensando recetas para la mía, que además de ser mi mamá, es mi mejor todo. Naranjitas Bañadas en Chocolate Amargo 🍊🍫. Poner en una olla las naranjas enteras y cubrirlas con agua. Llevar a hervor por 15 minutos y retirar el agua. Dejar enfriar. Repetir el proceso. Cortar las naranjas en rodajas bien finas. Para 5 naranjas enormes yo use 3/4 del paquete de azúcar. Poner azúcar en una olla y cubrir con agua. Hacer un almíbar. Poner a cocinar las rodajas de naranja en el almíbar por 30 minutos. Dejar enfriar bien separadas sobre papel manteca. Derretir chocolate para cobertura amargo al microondas en intervalos de 30 segundos y bañar la mitad de las naranjitas. Adoro la caprese innanzitutto perchè è buonissima e poi perchè, non avendo la farina tra gli ingredienti, è un'ottima soluzione se avete a cena una persona celiaca 😊 . . . Ingredienti: 350 gr cioccolato fondente 350 gr burro 300 gr zucchero 400 gr mandorle sgusciate 6 uova Procedimento: Iniziate col mettere il forno a 180° e tostate le mandorle finchè diventano dorate. Separate i tuorli dagli albumi. Montate a neve gli albumi con un pizzico di sale e teneteli da parte. Montate i tuorli con lo zucchero, poi aggiungete insieme la cioccolata e il burro sciolti precedentemente a bagnomaria. Tritate le mandorle e aggiungetele al composto. Infine, aggiungete delicatamente gli albumi. Infornate per circa 45min a 180°.
