I love campfire cooking! Do you know the energetic ingredients of your food? Energetically, all food is imprinted with the energy of the person who prepared and cooked it. This is why we should always take a minute to clear our food! (One way is by blessing it with your love & appreciation.) Sometimes the energy is bad enough that it cannot be cleared. Anger can ruin the energy signature of food. I've noticed that food prepared outside and cooked over a campfire has the highest energetic signature of anything I've ever eaten! While cutting vegetables outside at our campsite I noticed how they absorb the energetic signature of the sun, the trees, the wind.. & finally the FIRE! I wish I could eat this way every day! All living things have an energy field. When you share a space with a tree or a flower, you are absorbing and being affected by it's energetic frequencies. Our energy field interacts with the energy field of every living thing around us. Day one of my cracked farro breakfast. A few weeks ago I bought a 25lb bag of cracked farro for breakfast porridge. Last night I opened it for the first time and made a big pot for my breakfast this week. Farro or emmer is a whole grain that is an ancient relative of modern wheat. It is high in fiber, protein, and good carbohydrates. This hearty breakfast will help keep me full and on track for the day. Have you had farro before? 😺✌️❤️

GREEN TEA MATCHA OATMEAL BOWL
✖️1 cup oats
✖️milk or water
✖️1 tbs @teathe1st
green tea matcha powder
✖️drizzle of honey or other natural sweeteners
✖️toppings: walnuts, blueberries, pineapple
1. In a stove pot, add in the oats and water and matcha powder. Make sure the water covers the surface of the oats.
2. Begin to bowl the oats. Stir the oats occasionally to make sure the oats don’t stick to the pot.
3. Once the oats are creamy and cooked, mix in your natural sweetener.

What is your go-to remedy for a sick kid (or adult)? I love to make Golden Milk. I pour organic fatty whole milk in a small saucepan with a few black peppercorns, a pinch of cinnamon and ground turmeric root. Allow to warm slowly and while the flavors blend, give the complaining child or husband a spoonful of honey.
Once warm, add a splash of vanilla extract and honey to taste. Strain and sip throughout the day.
For a spicy adult version: add a couple cracked cardamom pods, 1"-2" fresh ginger and turmeric root. Feeling brave? Add some fresh garlic to boot! **for a Vegan version, replace milk with Coconut Cream and cut with warm water to taste.

peanut butter curry:
1 brown onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 tbsp mild curry powder
chopped veggies (eggplant, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower)
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 vegetable stock cube
1/4 cup nut or seed butter + 1/2 cup water mixed
cooked protein of choice
salted onion, carrots and celery until soft. add the curry powder and cook for a few extra minutes. add chopped veggies, tomatoes, stock cube and peanut butter mix. cover with lid and bring to a boil. simmer for 15 mins. serve with protein + extras. enjoy ☺️

Store bought vs homemade 🍟 which team are you on?
While regular potatoes get a bad rep in the health community, they still provide a diversity of beneficial vitamins & minerals. While potatoes are the number one consumed vegetable in America, it’s the form that they are consumed in that is of more concern- french fries.
Highly refined vegetable oils like canola contain high amounts of inflammatory omega 6 fatty acids & are chemically bleached & deodorized. Canola, safflower, sunflower, cottonseed, corn, soybean, & refined palm & peanut oil should be avoided. They also go rancid & oxidize easier that oils like olive oil or coconut oil.
Sweet potatoes are packed with fiber, vitamins A & C, carotenoids, and potassium and come in various colors such as the white Hannah sweet potato, the purple Japanese sweet potato, and the classic orange sweet potato.
Sweet potatoes contain unique fat-soluble polyphenols called anthrocyanins, & are abundant in various antioxidants & fat soluble carotenoids such as beta carotene, a pro-vitamin A. --
SWEET POTATO FRIES INGREDIENTS
• 2-3 large sweet potatoes, cut in wedges
• 2-3 tbsp Coconut oil (melted)
• 1-2 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
• Cumin powder
• Ceylon cinnamon
organic 24 herbs & spice seasoning
• Paprika powder
• Sea salt
1️⃣Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Cut sweet potato into wedges and toss in a little melted coconut oil. Drizzle with maple syrup.
2️⃣Sprinkle generously w/ cumin & cinnamon. Sprinkle lightly with Bragg’s organic 24 herbs & spice seasoning, paprika, & sea salt. Roast for 35-40 minutes.
3️⃣After the fries have finished cooking, switch the oven to broil “high” to get that crispiness. Broil for 1-2 minutes & keep an eye on the fries making sure not to burn them. Enjoy!

HEMP SEED DATE BARS
• 3/4 cup hemp seeds
• 5 dates
• 1 tbsp honey/maple syrup
- In a food processor, blend seeds and dates into a crumbly mixture, then add in honey and blend until combined (be careful not to overblend)
- Add on desired toppings: I drizzled melted chocolate, goji berries, and coconut flakes 😍
p.s. I'm glad my polish lasted long enough to get in a good pic, I should really do my nails more often 😆

Goodmorning guys, happy Monday!!✨💛 today I was going to do a 180 & eat savory sweet potato toast but my egg/broccoli/spinach scramble would not fit on the sweet potato 🍠🧡 so I sprinkled some cinnamon on top to have a sweet/savory combo!! The other day it would not start, so we replaced the battery & it STILL isn’t working 😭 my parents found a place to get it toes & fixed so we’re hoping it’s not undrivable 😂 guess this means I am just going to ride my beautiful Walmart bike everywhere I go for the rest of my life! ✨💛🚲 just another bump in the road of life I guess. I’m making a conscious effort to not worry about little things like this & to try to be more rational & not let my emotional mind take over. This is something I’ve always struggled with throughout my life & I want to start to overcome it. I’m sure plenty of you all can relate. Sometimes during the last months I've been having sleep problems waking up early in the mornings. Now I sleep better and this is rather surprising to me since fasting in theory should increase both nor-adrenalin and cortisol. 😊
I still think there is a lot I can improve to get higher quality sleep starting with:
1) I LOVE coffee ☕ but I will embrace the idea that it might negatively affect my sleep and limit to 2-3 cups per day no later than noon.
