"Somedays life is a grand adventure, other days its just an uncomfortable necessity before sleep." I didn't have a bad day, just saw this quote and loved it, it's so true. Everyday doesn't have to be perfect 💞
Sunset swims never looked so good 🌈
Turns out, trying to photograph the Milky Way with a puppy in hand is next to impossible. None of those photos turned out, but I did get to see an amazing sunrise and take glamour shots of Jax!

I’m feeling super lucky and sort of in disbelief that this is my classroom these days.
Where Moons doesn't quite get the stairs, fails, gets pulled up, decides enough of this technical bs, turns around but is afraid of the stairs, conquers them and hightails it back to open trails.
Looks like the early morning weather in the mountains is holding out for us this time around! So stoked to start my vaca Wednesday night with the boys & ski up to Peyto Hut early Thursday morning on my new Scarpa Gea RS boots! 🎿 Let the Wapta Traverse packing commence! ⛷
Has anyone actually felt the vortexes in Sedona?! I’ve heard about these things since I was a kid and have never experienced them. If you have, what was it like?! If you haven’t do you believe in those kinds of things or do you think it’s just a bunch of hogwash?! 💕🏜
Attention to detail is a beautiful thing.
Spent 🌏 day yesterday leading this awesome group of ladies on a spectacular hike. We had absolutely perfect conditions and even some fresh snow giving everything a beautiful shimmer! .
Days like yesterday spent with bad ass women, with a shared love for the trail, remind me why I am so blessed to be an ambassador for @girlswhohikeofficial

PUBLIC OPINION: why do you use social media? What are you opinions of social media overall? Has it affected your mental health? Do you have specific times you use it, and limits on usage? I’ve been pondering this lately & how it affects me, both negatively and positively. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance 😊 throwback to a photo from kauai, support link for their flooding emergency is in my bio.
I ran away to Wyoming.
I shut my phone off on Saturday night and didn’t turn it back on until I took this pic. I left it on airplane mode when it was on. My soul screamed at me to disconnect. The same way the body tells you to drink when it’s thirsty, my body tells me when I need to unplug from electronics — especially social media.
So I did. I woke up Sunday and instead of turning on my phone to see who texted me overnight, I left it on the table and cooked breakfast and danced with my pug. I packed a bag and put on my hiking boots, hopped in the pick up truck with Jeff, and headed North to Wyoming.
We climbed to the highest peak of giant rocks. We swam in streams. At one point we were hiking in the middle of rolling hills without any source of shade to cool off. It was high noon and Jeff was over heating. My face was starting to feel tight and red from the high elevation sun. I finally found a lone tree in the middle of this meadow and laid my sweater down as a blanket in the shade. As soon as I took my boots off and got comfortable, Jeff jumped on my lap and we fell asleep. I sware, something inside of you shifts when you fall asleep to the rhythmic hum and eery stillness of giant wind turbines… #TOBECONTINUED
