First fall mani!! And I plan on making a series out of these! Which I’ve never done before but I thought it would be kinda fun. 🤷🏻♀️ So here’s the first of four that’ll I’ll be doing!! Cross my fingers that all turn out as gorgeous as this one did!! My bases are ‘Snowy Owl’ & ‘Wildflower Meadows’ @nightowllacquer
and I stamped with ‘Liquid Leather’ @chinaglazeofficial
using one of my new @linanailartsupplies
‘Autumn 2’ that I picked up from @lanternandwren
My first official fall themed plate!! I cannot wait to use it again and again!!
Wild parsnip - Pastinaca sativa
The deep, rich smell of these roots is magnificent. Though the root is edible and similar to cultivated parsnip, take caution when picking as the sap from the above ground parts is toxic and can create photosensitivity = blistering of the skin in sunlight. A member of the Apiaceae family, a firm ID is essential and eat to taste not to fill.
Camping & exploring, looking out to Salisbury cathedral and sleeping next to a field of wild parsnip, silhouetted against the canvas//
We managed to go hiking the day the smoke arrived and even still it was amazing. The smoke was so thick we could taste it and could not see mountain ranges all around us. We started at the bottom of this fairy tale meadow which was overflowing with wildflowers and a creek running down the middle and made our way to the top right beyond those peaks all the while the smoke thickened throughout the day. Now that the smoke is finally clearing out im excited to do it again.

Harvest says "Nothing tastes better than a wildflower meadow."
Sowing yellow rattle and other wildflower seeds on our field, collected from Sprint Mill's amazing flower rich hay fields. We raked over 6 patches in the area of the field that will be grazing/hay, until we had some bare earth, then sowed the seed and trod it in. Hope to see the difference next year!
It was a wildflower kind of day. #wildflowermeadows #botany #alpine #balupass #glaciernationalpark
