We took a trip to Jim Corbett National Park, India's most loved and famous Tiger Reserves. It wouldn't be wrong to call it a park with all kinds of vegetation. From tall trees to grasslands to clear flowing rivers, the sun setting behind the hills by the river and magical skies with all the full spectrum of colors the universe has to offer. One of the best attraction of JCTR are the elephants, hundreds of them, may be thousands, from full grown Asiatic Bull Elephants with long tusks to cutest of the elephant calfs. Elephants are my favourite of all the wild animals. (I think it is okay to have a favourite, and love all). We saw a group of around 20 elephants, more than one family I guess, from a grand father to the youngest one (I guess). This particular female was blowing her trumpet with aggression, she was trying to call her calf back from the water, as we could see the calf by the bank of the beautiful Ramganga river through the tall grasses. The family was trying to move to some other direction as a couple of gypsies had arrived to see these majestic creatures and I am sure, they were not really okay with us intruding in their family time.
