Over & Over - Variation 10 – Channing Daughters Winery
This is a super fun and interesting, great red wine! Channing Daughter began this wine in 2004. every year they save some juice and mix it with great vintages of the past. They've been doing it over & over again for over 10 years. This bottle has memories of 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 harvests. It's still bright, with lots of super ripe red fruits. It's interesting because you get hints of age, black cherries/spice, but then it's overtaken with youthful attributes, juicy and playful. Very approachable.
And I give you... my rendition of the art piece that is set to adorn the 2018 Georges DuBoeuf Beajolais Nouveau bottles: “Foolish Pleasure” by artist Chloé Meyer 🎨🖌️🍷✨

Tomorrow is Beaujolais Nouveau Day, when one million bottles featuring this art will be released across the world. ✨
The tradition of Nouveau began when the winemakers and growers of the Beaujolais region celebrated the end of harvest with a young wine that was initially only produced for the locals! Georges Duboeuf was the first to bring that local custom to wine-lovers outside of the region, creating a worldwide phenomenon. Bottled six-to-eight weeks after harvest, Beaujolais Nouveau is fresh, fruity and vibrant- and said to be an early indicator of the quality of the vintage for the Beaujolais Crus! Drink it chilled like I do 🍷✨

🍇 Off the vine: Yarra Yering is one of the oldest and most beautiful vineyards in Victoria’s Yarra Valley with 28 hectares of vines located at the foot of the Warramate Hills. Established in 1969 by Dr Bailey Carrodus, the 1973 vintage saw production of the first vintage of Dry Red Wine No. 1 and Dry Red Wine No. 2. Yarra Yering quickly gained an international reputation for quality and individuality and paved the way for other Yarra Valley wineries.
