Nairoby Otero (writer/performer) is a first generation American. Nairoby grew up in New Orleans in a strong Cuban family with Spanish as her first language. She is an actress, writer, producer, and speaker. Nairoby is the founder of YOLO! Productions, a production company that aims to enhance the visibility of women in theatre, film and television. She most recently was seen in her one - woman show ’Til Sunday at GableStage. ’Til Sunday was nominated in 2017 for best solo show at The Hollywood Fringe Festival where it was also the best reviewed solo show. Nairoby has performed in ensemble theater and film from regional to Off-Broadway. Some favorite credits include: Alex in A Kid Like Jake, Ilona in Animals out of Paper and Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. Nairoby graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and currently resides in New York City. www.nairobyotero.com
