Our one year wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of the month – can you guess what question has been coming up very often, in fact just last week? If you guessed “when will you have kids?” or “why aren’t you pregnant already!” – you are right.
Today is October 15th, Pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day. A day to remember that you never know who in your life might be struggling. 1 in 8 women in the US, 1 in 6 in Canada and 1 in 4 worldwide are dealing with infertility issues right now. Too often we judge childless couples or ask people when they are going to have children, rather than considering what they are going through. I haven’t dealt with fertility issues myself, but it is always something at the back of my mind when the time comes to start a family. .

The LIES that are ROBBING YOU!
Yes I am talking to YOU!
YOU must expose our fears, lies, and beliefs that stops us from achieving what we want so that we can have the life and body want.
This is what I had to do to STOP living in my prison and start LIVING my life!
I was 220lbs, binge and emotional eating, self sabotaging my happiness, mad at the world and keeping me playing the role of the victim and sucking my self worth dry!
I don’t want YOU to spend one more day stuck, frustrated and not seeing the results you want.

What is the “but” or “what if” that follows your goal statement?
👉I want to lose weight “but”
👉I want to be fit and toned “but”
👉I want to wear whatever I want and feel confident “but”
The “but” that follows your goal is the story that is holding you back from being the super amazing human that you are and keeping you exactly where you are without the results you want.
How do bust through that lie, your sabotaging story and get RESULTS?
1. Find someone who was once in you current shoes and is where you want to be? This provides proof that you do not have to be a victim, hurles, your life situations that leads you to believe that you can’t have this goal.
2. Reflect on your life and and ask yourself, In 5,10, 15 years from now do I want to be in the exact same body, mental space, lifestyle, year after year?
3. What is cost that comes with me not changing my life and my mindset and moving towards my goal (list them)
4. Flip your answers from number 3 and use the consequences to motivate you to change and take responsibility of your life and push you forward.
When you see someone that inspires you and fires you up about what is possible in life, YOU also possess that quality.
YOU just need to move the fog that's in front of your eyes and find it within yourself.
But you MUST be willing to break free of the story that is holding you back to find it.

Becca here is 40weeks+ pregnant and still going strong 💪🏼👊🏻😃 Of course her body shape has changed (swipe left) - there’s a tiny little human growing inside but she has maintained a healthy and happy physique and mindset throughout.
Like all my preggy mummies, I am incredibly proud of their efforts and commitment throughout their 9 months of pregnancy. I am approached because pregnant woman aren’t 100% sure what they should be doing throughout each trimester and I am here (and qualified) to guide them through the best I can 🤓 The best advice I can give to mums-to-be is TO KEEP MOVING! Don’t become sedentary and don’t find excuses - any form of exercise is fantastic for both your mind and body. To get the endorphins flowing, as well as circulation is going to make everything function a little better and make you feel better!
Sessions are fun, chatty (because that’s what we do best☺️🙄) and we train to maintain, and keep the body, both anterior and posterior chain, functioning at its best. Training to get stronger and create muscle tone can come after 😉

During this time we can derail a lot of the hard work that we’ve been consistently plugging away at throughout the summer months.
For some of us we have ‘that’ dress in the wardrobe that we refuse to throw out because “I will fit into it one day”! With winter on its way we cover ourselves up in warm comfy jumpers & big coats, eat comforting winter foods, wrap up on the sofa of an evening with a brew and the tv on because it’s too dark and cold outside to go out for a walk and generally move less. Then we feel sluggish & less motivated to get up and out, and so the cycle continues.
A few pounds pile on over the winter and by spring we feel like we need to shed our ‘winter coat’. If you feel like to want to do something this autumn, to move more, avoid that extra ‘winter coat’ and start 2019 feeling like a healthier, leaner, fitter you, then I can help 😉

Stir-fried Eggplant and green capsicum Japanese style.
1 Eggplant and 1 Green capsicum (chopped), 2 tbsps of sugar, 4 tbsps of soy sauce, olive or canola oil to fry and @kapaipuku
Liver health, a little bit of Kelp(seaweed) stock powder as optional.
Fry the eggplant with generous amount of oil, then add capsicum and cook until both become tender. Then add sugar, then soy sauce and kelp stock powder as optional, cook for a minute. Garnish with Kapai Puku Liver health.

So my 1yr dōTERRA ‘anniversary’ was last month! 😊💜.
1 year since we thought that inflammation, low energy, headaches, digestive issues + hormonal fluctuations were just a normal part of life.
1 year since we realised that nearly every single product in every cupboard in our home was toxic and causing health issues.
We seemed ok, and no one would say we were in ill health...but the damage was being done in silence and being brushed off as ‘normal’.
I applied synthetic skincare and makeup without a second thought, cleaned my home with products that I had to wear gloves for and open windows to use, and sprayed perfume like nobodies business.

This past weekend, we spent time up north in @bluemtnresort
for our anniversary.
It was just lovely to get away, spend some quality time together and enjoy the beautiful fall colours and fresh air.
I'll be honest, I'm a city girl. I grew up in the city, enjoy the comforts that modern living provide and the thought of camping 🏕 gives me palpitations.
It was a BIG leap of faith when we committed to spending every weekend tending to our organic plot up north with no real bathroom to speak off and no "modern day comforts".
And I'm so glad that we did. It's been an absolutely incredible experience and life changing for our family.
When I first smelled Northern Lights Black Spruce, I didn't think much about it. Just thought it smelled like some sort of wood. But it grew on me. And now, it's seriously my favourite oil because whenever I smell it, I feel like I'm walking in the woods and i instantly feel grounded.
It's amazing how things change.

Best thing to do exercise wise is to lift weights and include some resistance training 👍🏻💪🏻.
Weight training helps increase the production of serotonin our brain hormone that makes us feel good.😊.
Serotonin can lower as we approach or go through the menopause due to the drop in our oestrogen levels which is why a lot of women suffer from low moods and depression at this time of life. .
It’s been found in depressed people that strength training can have twice the mood boosting benefits than just doing aerobic exercise alone.
Studies of depressed patients have also found that those who did strength training improved their sleeplessness - a key symptoms of depression - by 30 per cent. 😴😴
Not only that but another recent study claimed that women who were put on a twice weekly programme of resistance training had a staggering 60 per cent decrease in anxiety levels and lowered levels of irritability in only six weeks.🤯.
Anxiety is another issue of the menopause we can suffer with due to the drop in progesterone and how it impacts on the brain.
Exercise and lifting weights is what keeps my mood my stable , hence keeping me sane 😬 and really helps boosts my energy levels.

Had the best weekend in London at the Gestational Journey conference 🙌🏻🤰🏻It was such a great atmosphere being surrounded with friends, like-minded practitioners and the leaders in the field who shared so much incredible knowledge 🌿
I definitely feel confident working with pregnant women or those trying to conceive, as there are sadly so many ‘roadblocks’ in this modern world that can negatively affect fertility. These include nutrient deficiencies, poor stress management, hormone imbalances and environmental toxins ☹️🙅🏻♀️

The autumn is here and I'm already in hibernation mode.
I've had some time to think about my Instagram and how do I want to proceed with it. I was inspired by @the.happy.pelvis.
So I've created my Instagram mostly to "show off" my food. With my Hashimoto's I already ditched a lot of stuff like gluten ale people constantly were telling me that my food must be sad and miserable, and I was like, hell no! My food is better then yours, bitch!! 😂
But around 2 years I started having new problems, after a year I had a diagnostic laparoscopy to confirm endometriosis. After that stuff pretty much went downhill. Pain got worse, my diet got even more strict to reduce the pain even a little. So I'm still waiting to find out more from a specialist now.
So this is the reason I've decided to change few things about my profile. I've got tired, and I don't cook everyday anymore, so I don't know what I will do with it, but will keep you updated. Hopefully you will still like it and don't mind me focusing a bit more on overall health and me bitching about endo 😊
