😏 we went to Markthallen, and had loads of foodies there. I loved the Nacho‘s topped with meat, avocado and salsa the most. We got this at the smallest food corner in there. #alwayschoosetheunderdog

I haven't posted on my blog in a really long time due to life and enjoying my travel experiences, but here is a first one for 2018 and it's about my system to a zero-waste period life. Tell your girlfriends, your sisters, your friends, your mothers, and any menstruating female out there!
The two best things I have invested in as a woman are the following items, however, I only wish I would have tried these sooner. 1) Menstrual Cup which I use the @thedivacup

To celebrate, I want to share a super easy water infusion to help maintain your hydration as summer revs up. If you drink a little of this first thing in the morning, the lemon will help you absorb nutrients during the day and even provide you with a little immune boost. Enjoy!
REFRESHING BLUEBERRY LIME WATER INFUSION
1 cup blueberries, whole
1⁄2 cup berries, muddled and strained
1 lime, sliced into wheels
1 1⁄2 quarts still water
Add fruit to the insert of a 2-quart infusion pitcher. Add desired amount of ice to pitcher, then fill with water. Allow to steep for at least 30 minutes, but preferably for 2 to 3 hours, before serving.
💦 TIP: I like slicing citrus into wheels because it looks so pretty! But as long as it’s cut up to allow the juices and goodness to seep out of it, it doesn’t really matter how it’s cut.

It wasn’t that long ago I was not jumping for joy over life! 😐I was working in corporate accounting which was soul sucking. 😓 Although it was great experience and I worked with mainly incredible people I thought there had to be more to life.

Yes it hasn’t been easy and I’m still making a lot of mistakes along the way. But hey I’m now living a life on purpose on my terms. I’m now coaching woman to do the same and to live a life of purpose and vitality. Want to improve your chin-ups and pull-ups? Try seated barbell chin/pull-ups. The straighter your legs are, the harder it is. To increase assistance, bend your knees and move your feet closer to your body. This will allow you to use your legs for assistance. The benefit of this chin/pull-up variation is that it forces to pull more of your own bodyweight with good range of motion.

I'm over perfection. Or trying to appear a certain way other than who I am, really. With filters, cosmetic enhancements & cell phones that allow us to mindlessly capture hundreds of photos in a short amount of time... simplicity seems to just be missing from the western culture.
I'm not criticising wanting to look & feel beautiful & fancy & loving how we look. I like that as well. This photo is just a tribute to the sunspots, smile lines & natural expressions we make while in motion in everyday life. And that's what I really enjoy most these days.
About the backseat... that's a bit how I've felt behind the scenes the last few years. Building while it appears someone else is driving. But they're not- I'm intentionally creating different aspects of myself that are curating a well rounded woman. And that feels good, too.
Ya know, as I write this it just reminds me that I'm just grateful for it all. Each season of becoming is so perfect in our self development. So yes... I guess I love perfection, too.
