I'll be honest: I never really imagined sharing photos of myself in a sports bra online.
Not because I don't wear this to work out-- but because until only a handful of years ago, I didn't like my body or appreciate what it could do to support my outdoor adventures.
I grew up thinking that my size was who I was. I grew up taking daily measurements and looking at numbers on a scale and wishing I looked different. I grew up truly believing that until my body looked a certain way, I wasn't worthy of the same level of happiness others had. That my shape told the single most important story about who I was.
It's been decades since I held these beliefs. About 10 years since I stepped on a scale. I wear what I want, and most days I feel completely comfortable in my body. And while much has evolved for the better, there are still so many ways to quantify, judge, and compare.
Sometimes I still hear the comment that certain types clothes are only meant for people of a certain size. That showing skin is only acceptable if that skin looks a particular way. That your shape or structure can somehow exclude you from wearing clothes that make you feel prepared, comfortable, or happy. That you don't have ultimate control over what you put on your body.
I'm telling you that those voices are all uninformed, unimportant, and uninvited-- regardless of whether you feel like they alienate you or validate you.
Your body is yours. It's beautiful when you're hiking on a trail. It's beautiful when you're relaxing on a couch. It's beautiful when you hug others, listen intently, and breathe. It's beautiful when you use it to create memories, eat good food, and experience healing.
Ultimately what you do with your body to feel healthy and fulfilled tells the story of who you are-- not what you look like from the outside.
So live a good story in your body. Turns out it's been yours to live all along.

Tonight’s plans are to sit down and figure out where I want to travel in 2019. To pinpoint which countries I want to go to, trails I want to explore, mountains I want to conquer... I already know that I’m going to end up with a very long list—and I can’t wait to check it all off 🌎
A 30 min hike at La Trinidad
I took this about a week after coming home for traveling almost a month. I look back on this and I remember how super strong I felt. After a stretch of more than a week of daily hikes in altitudes of at least 9,000’ to about 12,700’ in the Himalayan foothills, my body acclimated well enough and I completely felt I was producing more oxygen so I could go longer. I need to draw on those wonderfully ecstatic days when the only climbing I get to do lately is 8 stories of stairs. My life now is tons of sitting and hours of overworking brain cells. It is valuable work though and while I hear of people uprooting their lives for something more and better, I’m grateful that THIS is my life today. And Christmas is less than a week away! 🥰 Sending everyone massive hugs tonight!
.As above, So below.
Would you ever do a California roadtrip? 🌴🌊 I've done the famous Pacific Coast Highway route from north to south, riding along the ocean and checking out beaches and wineries. I've also roadtripped from SoCal to NorCal through the center of the state, stopping at deserts and farms along the way. Both routes are epic opportunities to experience California's diverse beauty 🌞
we are all born so beautiful;
the greatest tragedy is
being convinced we are not.

A country with empowered women is a strong one and I believe in that. A Filipina carry out so many roles - mother, lover, child, boss, employee
I may sound like a feminist (uh-oh!) but society always dreams of confident women, someone who can freely speak her mind, someone who can do things on her own while relying on her man for support, someone who's 'a whore between the sheets and a lady on the streets' kind of partner
When we start being all these, society shuts us up, telling us that we have crossed the line, acted inappropriately or worst they tell us it's not our place. They want an illusion not the reality. Still, we have inched forward compared to decades ago
Let's keep inching forward. I started this page to show siociety that we too have passions and achievements outside of it's expectations. This is your page and whatever growth we have achieved in numbers, it's all because of you.
Cheers and happy holidays everyone!

I am still reeling from the energy of the VIP member webinar last night 😊⠀
I love working with amazing women realizing their dreams 💕 Spending 30 minutes breaking down the tools and support I use and offer as an online coach was the highlight of my day! The best part is that my biz partner was so awesome 👏She recorded it 🎥 ⠀
That’s right! With the holidays, events, and social engagements happening this time of year we wanted to make sure that the information continued to stay available until the New Year when we get our VIP group under way 🙌 ⠀

“When we adopt a dog or any pet, we know it is going to end with us having to say goodbye, but we still do it. And we do it for a very good reason: They bring so much joy and optimism and happiness. They attack every moment of every day with that attitude.” -W. Bruce Cameron
Feeling so much optimism today! Let’s attack every moment today with a positive attitude
