It’s been way too long since the sled got dropped into the salty soup, a decent trip has been planned so the excitement is escalating!!
An old one but one of my favorite DIY's.
Starting to get the hang of this epoxy thing...... Don't let that take your attention away from that beautiful walnut though!
Lavender oil is a great option to bring life the fingerboard. One of the many finishing touches.
Production meeting in progress. So much to do in so little time - was the general consensus.
Ok I’m making a crib and It’s going to come down to the wire to get it done! But at Least I finished the dresser. that’s where our priorities are for her (fashion) LOL.
Sanded the shellac flat using a small wood block wrapped with 400 grit sandpaper. Vacuumed off the sanding dust and laid on 2 more coats. I think I may be able to rub out the finish tomorrow 😊
The sun setting on another wonderful day I’m infinitely grateful for.... And some curious puppies too😆😍❤️
Alright, so was I super spoiled to be living next door to my client on this one? Yes. Was it still exhausting and embarrassing to have to pull it and then finish it and then reinstall it? I mean yeah. ... Did that detract from how much fun I had taking this one on? Not a bit! || It's sort of a cop-out, but I can finally put "table" in my repertoire - emphasis on the quotation marks. || Sofa table (or hall table - jury's out) made from knotty pine with a walnut Danish oil stain, and integrated power outlet. This one was special.
