I listened to a Tony Robbins podcast ‘the #1
decision that will change your life’ and it rocked me. Tony talked to the crowd about, “when do you actually start to live?” It’s upon the imminent promise of death, if you knew you were going to die at the end of this week, he says “who would you call? who would you forgive? how hard would you live? how much energy and love would you bring? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Around minute 24, of the 27.31 total minutes the audio, a lady talks about saying no to Her BF after being proposed to. She said it was because her previous husband had died horrifically in an accident and she was scared of committing to him out of fear and not being ready, they had a huge argument and she left to go Hawaii to attend one of Tony’s shows, the exact show that this podcast was recorded on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the evening of 10th of September 2001, after listening to Tony say, ‘who would you call’.. she left her Boyfriend a message at his office at the top of the World Trade Centre, saying she loved him, she’s sorry and yes she will marry him and spend the rest of her life with him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He returned her message after getting to the office that morning, which she slept through. She woke up to a voicemail, He said, “he was so glad to have received that message, that he adored and loved her right to his soul, but he had some really bad news, his voice cracks and he says.. there’s been some kind of accident, a bomb has gone off, the building is burning down and there was no way out..”
He leaves her with, “I know your wondering how this could happen to you twice in your life to the men you love, I’m sorry, all I can tell you is that in the future, don’t hesitate to love, just don’t hesitate. I love you, goodbye” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And he hangs up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s no better time than now. Don’t wait for tomorrow, don’t get hung up on yesterday. The now is where you you really start to live.
