I used to think that because I was an athlete through college that id have no issues staying in shape as I got older. What I didn’t realize was that once you’re done with sports, you either coach and motivate yourself or workouts don’t happen. Or that real world jobs can make you eat from stress. Or that sometimes you may only have a few minutes for a lunch break and fast food is the easy answer. I also didn’t realize what a toll years of sports did to my body and that even though I love running, it was too much of a strain on my knees. •
When I started my first job, I was living at home, making $12 an hour, and couldn’t afford the gym (and was ashamed of how out of shape id gotten)— but my body couldn’t handle running either. I was desperate to feel like myself again and scraped up $160 to buy a home workout program and a month supply of this special shake.
What I didn’t realize was that investment would help me lose weight, tone up, prioritize clean eating, give me purpose, make friends, find a support crew, win prizes, shift my mindset, and help others do the same.💛 It’s not just a trend and it’s not a gimmick. It’s an exciting, fulfilling, rewarding, beautiful lifestyle ✨. When you’re ready to see for yourself, you know where to find me 💛
Feeling blessed to have spent the day traveling up to Sacramento to work and meet with other setters. I do love my job. I’m one lucky dewd.
Also, WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT CROSSFIT ARENA? I feel like the place should be called Sacramento CrossFit, and it just happens to have a climbing wall. Dear Lord.
