You would be totally surprised on who in the U.S. are the truly wealthy and who are not. Wealth is not the same as income. If you make good income each year and spend it all, you are not getting wealthier. You are just living high. Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend.
In the book the Millionaire Next Door, Thomas J. Stanley, Ph.D. and William D. Danko, Ph.D do a thorough research investigation about the wealthy for seven of the top ten financial service corporations in America.
How do you become wealthy?
According to their research most people get this wrong. It is seldom luck or inheritance or afvanced degrees or even intelligence. Wealth is more often the result of a lifestyle of hard work, preseverence, planning and most of all, self-discipline.
In the next decade there will be more wealth in this country than ever before. Wealth held by American households is growing and is expected to grow at a very high rate.
There is a niche here. The opportunities to serve the wealthy will be greater than ever before.
There are a lot of businesses and professions that can benefit from servicing the wealthy. Hear are some:

As a stylist and salon owner, sometimes I find myself struggling to find a work/life balance. Surely I’m not the only one.
The past week my husband and I have made some lifestyle changes in order to be more active and healthy. Being on vacation so much recently allowed us to spend a lot of time together, we got a little spoiled. What we have been doing now is getting up in the mornings together so we can be on more similar schedules, we walk the dogs together, drink coffee on our porch, and then I’m off to work, but this has given us a way to spend more quality time together. What are some ways you find work/life balance?

The reason that many people eventually have to leap into change to begin with is because their current situation is no good anymore, or someone affected the strength of the foundation that they thought they built or took it away altogether. When your current situation forces you to make a change it often happens through the “slow boil” where you keep on putting up or living with the same thing until you simply can’t anymore and you have to do something about it. Always remember that having a strong foundation also means that you’re mindful of what’s happening in your life and allowing yourself to flow with change, constantly changing your foundation as needed to evolve with what’s happening as opposed to holding rigidly to what you know and have always known - trying to “force” perceived “stability”.

Feeling the energy, the jing, revitalising in my body as I go from doing too much to working the right amount for me, the life equivalent of creating white space in graphic design. A good life has pauses in it, where you are situationally mindful, as opposed to being mindful because it’s on your to do list. My issue has always been to do too much, but some of us have more of a tendency to inertia, where we don’t do enough. How do you find balance?
