I suck at videoing lately because I’ve literally just been cranking out a workout when I get to the gym so I can get home to eat #alwayshungry #lolhelp
But seriously I promise I’m going to get a video in here sometime soon(ish). In the meantime, here’s what I did today:
🔥Rope Curls (holy burn)
has me incorporating some exercises to failure and I’m low key loving how much it pushes me mentally and physically.
Some abs from this morning ⤵️
•2 Side Crunches + 2 Cross Crunches (5 times)
•10 Bosu Ball Sit-Ups
•20 Bosu Ball Russian Twists
•20sec Plank Hold on Bosu Ball

If your wondering why I go up a such a strange angle and how I look uneven it’s because I have a spinal condition called scoliosis; this means that my spine is shaped like an S rather than an I, this has caused me minor problems in the gym at moments and major issues during some workouts. I never push myself too hard when it comes to back for this reason alone. -

You don’t need fancy clothes, equipment, or a ton of space to get in shape. I ’ve done the gym thing, group classes...spin boot camp, triathlon and marathon training. The most effective results have come from 20-45 minute ⏰home workouts and checking in with my supportive community. No driving or showering at a gym...No class schedule...It’s done when it’s convenient for my schedule. 📆

AB CIRCUITTTTT🥳🥳🥳 •
Alright if you’re anything like me you absolutely despise ab days and sometimes I neglect them 😂 I typically do abs on days I do cardio just so I don’t have to do 2 things I don’t like on different days 😂 **i don’t particularly like training abs because of my prior back injuries so sometimes it brings me discomfort. I like to take it easy and not over do it so I don’t injure myself again**
• I did these exercises back to back 30 seconds each and took a minute break in between each round (5 rounds total), & man did my core burrrnnnnnn & it hurts to laugh today 😅🔥🔥 ✨
Remember that abs aren’t just made in the gym, they are made in the kitchen! Your abs will not show unless you have a low enough body fat % which means if you need to lose fat, you need to be on a calorie deficit (eating less calories than your body is expending). If your training abs and not seeing them, I promise they are there they are just hiding below some belly fat (which is okay!!) personally I think abs are the trickiest muscle to make show ✨😰 •

Gross right? But not really, just not the funnest topic all the time.
I was out of the gym for 10 days. Before this hiatus I was going to the gym regularly 5-6 times a week. And then all of a sudden, I was done. 10 whole days of no work outs, crap eating, and not to mention, crap mental state.
What made me not get my ass up and get to the gym? GREAT question- who friken knows? All I know now, is that after two failed attempts TODAY I made it there on my third try.
And I’m DAMN proud I did.

again are my main exercise for hamstrings I’m focusing on. Mainly for injury prevention bc I strained my upper hammy earlier this year. My goal is to strengthen and tone my Hammie’s not build and make them bigger. .
Current physique stats: 142lb 200g carbs and 30 mins cardio a week 😳. I feel strong and mentally I feel so balanced in life. This is the heaviest I’ve been this year.... I am not trying to build muscle all over except the glutes 🤷♀️ I have changed so many things up this year and everything is different. Am I nervous yes but change is good. I used to be one of those people who were afraid of dramatic changes but in my experience, growth and positive outcomes have come from dramatic changes. Don’t live in fear— I’ve been there and nothing but stagnant waters is where I stood. I now am surging like the biggest waterfall on earth 🌏 and I’m genuinely so happy 😃 .

For the longest time I neglected chest. Up until getting pregnant I had absolutely nothing going for me up there, so why would I want to make it look even more like a 10 year old boy?
But the thing is, once I started implementing a chest day into my routine, I saw massive improvements in my shoulders & triceps. My shoulders began to look more rounded overall & my triceps finally saw that ever so coveted horseshoe 🙌🏼
Here are some of my go to moves for chest. *note: these are all done at an incline since I am pregnant.
Incline DB Unilateral Chest Press
Incline DB Chest Press w/a Twist
Incline DB Chest Flies
Plate Overhead Tricep Extensions
I also did:
barbell incline bench,
tricep rope extensions
& overhead rope extensions.
I am STILL sore from this workout, that’s how good it was!

The moment you become aware of the self-limiting beliefs that YOU’VE placed on yourself is the moment your reality shifts. You want to know why you always end up getting hurt? Why you keep attracting the same type of partner? Why nothing seems to go your way? Because you’re telling yourself that this is your reality... so it becomes it. Trust me, I did it for a long time. You’ve created this story, and our projection= our perception.
I am so interested in furthering my relationship with MYSELF. Questioning my thoughts. Watching my ego. Studying my behaviors. And I can only predict the positive impact it will have on my relationship with others.
I’m always so focused on the little things I can work on to change myself for the better... I forget to acknowledge the parts about me that are already pretty great.
Drink yo water, do your research, pay attention to your actions, love your flaws, challenge yourself and allow yourself to grow and loveeeeee 🌹
Chest day! Give this workout a shot, dumbells press into flys! Using lighter weight; 5 presses, 5 flys, 5 presses and 5 flys! 20 total reps and your chest will be screaming! 💪🏻🔥
