Sorry I was a bit of a ghost town last week guys.
But guess what...
I fell off hard last week. I slacked off and didnt meal prep at all and barely did any workouts. And I felt so sluggish and awful all week.
But I am human and those slack ass days or weeks happen. It's what we learn from them that matters most.
I learned and proved it to myself that when I do not put the time and effort in to myself, I slack off and I feel like absolute crap. .
And even over this past weekend I started to feel a cold/flu coming on.
So I got my ass in gear and did my meal prep for the week! .
What you see here is:
SNACK: a wonderful mango, cucumber, radish and mixed berry salad.
LUNCH: brown rice, red cabbage, black beans and roasted garlic.
SNACK: marinated 3 bean salad.
Of course I have my superfoods smoothie each morning as well.
Let's look at Sunday as a fresh start to a new week. And let's totally kill it this week!!

So today.. I ate pizza for lunch and dinner and drank a shit ton of coffee.
Tmrw I am hoping for a better (eating) day. 🤷🏻♀️😂 That is my balance for ya. ✌🏼 P.S. twinning with my son & while we watched a horrible football game today. So I’m also hoping for a better football game next week.

Nothing like getting in some quality work to improve explosiveness and quickness with low impact on your knees. All of these young men are work horses wanting to get better everyday. Had the opportunity to see some of our Pride Fitness athletes. Felt good seeing them running people over, making big tackles, and pancaking people. But it felt even better being rushed at halftime by half the team (when only a handful come to the gym lol!)
Love this group of young men and super proud of their play today. They dominated. The next generation burning a path to their legacy.

Like, what if I would’ve given up because people told me “no” What if I would’ve listened to the voice in my head that said I needed thousands of followers from the beginning. Can you imagine if I wouldn’t of listened to George when he told me “just do it, you love working out and helping people. You got it babe” Or what if I let all the negative “talk” get to me or cared what strangers thought.
Well if I did all of that. I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be building a team, and helping other girls dreams come true. I wouldn’t be helping girls reach their goals and feel their best. I wouldn’t be in the best shape of my life because this gig has held me accountable to my own goals. I wouldn’t be the future stay at home mom I’ve always dreamed of being. If we want things, we need to have a job. To keep the job, we have to get enough rest and show up on time and put effort into the job. No one shows up to do our laundry, pay our bills, make sure we are fed, you name it - it’s all.on.us
As a nutritionist I talk with my clients about this a lot. If we want something we don’t currently have, we have to do things we don’t currently do....if we want to have them forever, we have to do them forever - even when we don’t want to *insert me whining about wanting to not “adult”*
But that’s just the simple fact of it all.
Want to be strong? You have to lift and be sore and push harder each time....consistently.
Want to be lean? You have to stop eating like an idiot, consistently.
Want to have healthy relationships? You have to tend to them... consistently.
Want these things for the rest of your lives? You guessed it - you’re gonna have to do them consistently for the rest of your life.
Does that mean your attitude is always going to be excited and motivated? NOPE - but it does mean that we have to come to grips with the understanding that being an adult (with things worth having) means acting like one repeatedly for the rest of our lives, EVEN WHEN YOU DONT WANT TO.
The freedom we seek is in the dedication and commitment to the process.
