Came and conquered my leg workout ✨ ✨ ✨ I almost wimped out and just did some light cardio today, but I powered through that feeling and lifted instead. You can’t get progress if you don’t push yourself out of your comfort zone. Train insane or remain the same 🤟🏼

If you're in need of some #mondaymotivation check these Landmine Lunges! Sort of a marriage between Curtsy lunges / Reverse lunges on one of my favorite pieces of gym equipment 💁🏽 Lunges should be a leg day staple! Here's why👇🏽
👊🏽Unilateral exercises are important to any muscle group! They help ensure symmetry & prevent muscle imbalances. You may also find that you can get a better mind-muscle connection performing unilateral exercises than bilateral exercises.
👊🏽Lunges are also great for developing a strong core. Whatever type of lunge you do they require a lot of balance & stability, so be sure to contract your abs throughout the movement!
👊🏽Some females dislike lunges because they get too much quad activation. Some tips to get more glute/ham activation & less quad activation would be to take longer strides. I also find that reverse lunges & curtsy lunges (rather than walking forward) helps me avoid incorporating much quad. Everyone's bodies / biomechanics are different, so it's important to play around with different movements to find what works best for you, & really dial in your mind-muscle connection.
👊🏽I particularly like the landmine bar for reverse lunges because I get even MORE core activation out of it than I do with DBs or BBs. It's def more work to hold the weight at your chest, but hey who can complain about a lil bit of an arm pump?!😝

Biceps, triceps and shoulders oh my! 🙈💪🏽 Here are two circuits from my arm day on Sunday! These are some staples moves on my arm days! Complete the bicep, tricep, and shoulder workout before taking a rest, and hen repeat that 3 times! I usually do 10-12 reps for most arm day shtuffff! 👉🏽 Bicep Curls, Banded External Rotations, Single Arm Overhead Tricep Extensions
👉🏽 Tricep Kickbacks, Around the Worlds, Reverse Incline Bench Curls
Then I moved onto the cables and did 2 circuits over there ☺️🙌🏽
