Au programme hier au skill, un EMOM 9’ qui décortique toute la pyramide gym (hollow rock, arch rock, hollow arch bar, kipping PU, russian dips 🎥, kipping c2b, muscle up🎥, butterfly PU, butterfly c2b). Un jour j’aurais les jambes serrés sur mes MU, je vais bosser là dessus et sur l’enchaînement avec un deuxième car là en deuxième ça donne un chest to bar, je n’arrive pas dans la bonne position pour faire un MU. Great class this morning. - Managed to push my deadlift at 4 x 4 from a dead stop to 90kg which is up 10kg on when I last did this workout. The lateral raise is a fantastic exercise to really target the side (medial) deltoids which can give great shape and width to your shoudlers. . But it can be all to easy to not activate this part of the shoulder properly and instead use the traps which is not what you want. . We cover this exercise in this weeks Muscle Box Radio Top Tip, to have a listen to that episode on the podcast then check out the link in the bio. . So in order to activate the medial delts properly and avoid using your traps follow these top tips: . ✅ Push your shoulders down so you take the traps out of the movement. . ✅ Gripping the dumbbells pull them slightly away from your hips with your arms straight. . ✅ From here focus on pulling the dumbbells away from each other and think about dragging them across the floor. . ✅ Keep the shoulders down throughout to keep the focus on medial delts avoiding any shrugging movement. . ✅ Finish with the dumbbells at shoulder height before lowering them down and repeating the above. .
