FRONT DELT RAISE By @JoeActivated
Front delt (shoulder) raises train the front part (anterior) of your shoulders. As with many exercises that you’ve seen on my page that incorporate cables, I suggest focusing using cables for this exercise because it provides constant tension throughout the entire movement, unlike using dumbbells.
Keep the weight light, don’t cheat the reps, and focus on the technique. This isn’t meant to be loaded up with hella weight. It’s imperative to keep the reps slow and under control as a way to overload the workout. This is the best way to help keep your shoulders healthy and to prevent injury while performing this exercise!
If you notice, my hand goes behind me on the negative part of the exercise. Then I return to the normal movement position on the concentric portion of the movement (the way up). By following this way, you’ll provide contraction during the entire portion of the movement which will help you gains out while also training your front shoulders in ways you probably did not train before!
