Finally getting around to reading 'Writing Dark Stories' by Rayne Hall...(that I bought at Christmas)...And I even get to break in my new highlighters from last months Scribbler box! •
How are you spending your weekend?
DON MIGUEL RUIZ MENTIONS 👨🏽🏫 “The mind lives in more than one dimension.” He writes, “ there maybe times when you have ideas that don’t originate in your mind, but you are perceiving them with your mind.” 🗯 And while it can be a bad idea to listen to so many things at once... 🤯⠀
I LOVE living in more than one world at a time. #BaWritingLife#IgWritersApril 🚶🏽♀️(This is my favorite spiritual text so far, by the way).⠀
There were so many phases of my life where a story healed or comforted. There were equally as many versions of myself who asked questions that never got answers.👩🏽💻⠀
I write for those selves who still don’t know. Who maybe needed a friend, a display of unconditional love, an ounce of borrowed courage. A villain to blame. A beast to slay, a world to explore. 🧜🏽♀️ A place just to be.⠀
I write for me, then & now. ⠀
But I publish for you.⠀
Because, maybe, you’re also in need of those things too. ❤️⠀
PS- 1. TELL ME WHO WERE your author heroes at a time when you couldn’t process something? Who, without fail, brought you comfort? 😊⠀
2. OR TELL ME WHICH specific 📚 still bring you joy no matter how much time passes between rereads?
Is it just me, or can you feel it too?
You know, just, one day, you wake up and realise that some things have stopped affecting you completely? Because, same.
Like, you suddenly don’t care what that one person you dislike has posted?
You don’t care if they texted you or not?
It all suddenly comes up to you and you feel weird, because, same.
You’ve not become busy but you’re just busy, at the same time, not doing anything?
Like, you don’t have to keep yourself busy reminding yourself to keep busy, because, same.
You feel astounded, because you were someone who was once an overthinker and now, you don’t think at all?
Reason why I have been quiet... I sent #Snowblinded off to a pro editor. I intended to split my book into three and self publish. My editor disagreed with me and the screenshot above is from his general report on my manuscript. Well... needless to say I have been having a rethink and decided to put Snowblinded forward for agent queries. So nervous!
After his father’s death, the Son decided to leave his mother at old age home and visited her on and off.
Once he received a call from old age home….Mom very serious ….. please come to visit.
Son went and saw mom very critical, on her dying bed.
He asked: Mom what can I do for you.
Mom replied… “Please install fans in the old age home, there are none…. Also put a fridge for betterment of food because many times I slept without food”. Son was surprised and asked: mom, while you were here you never complained, now you have few hours left and you are telling me all this, why?
Mom replied…..”it’s OK dear, I’ve managed with the heat, hunger & pain, but when your children will send you here, I am afraid you will not be able to manage

Wo jo tum school me apne B'day pe chocolates distribute karte time dosto se chhupa ke use zyada chocolates deti thi na? Wo tha Pyaar.
Wo jo tum Class ka monitor hone ke Baad bhi uske baat karne pe, teachers se uski complain nahi karte the na, Wo tha Pyaar.
Wo jo tum ye pata karke ki wo bus apne ghar se bus kitne baje nikalti hai aur fir us time pe theek uske pehle pahuch jaate ho taaki uske saath same time school ja sako, Wo hai Pyaar.
Wo jo tum Dosto ke saath night out karte time sabke force karne ke Baad bhi ice cream ko Haath nahi lagate kyunki tumhe pata hai use tumhara bimar hona nahi pasand, Wo hai Pyaar.
Apne enjoyment ke liye kisi ke saath rehna Pyaar nahi hai.
Apne time pass ke liye kisi ki feelings ke saath khelna, Pyaar nahi hai.
Pehle pyaar ko samajh to jaao fir kar lena Pyaar kyunki Pyaar karna har kisi ke bas ki baat nahi. ......

The mom found out about this and asked him to just ask her out, so the next day when he went to buy the CD, while the girl went to get the wrapping paper, he wrote his number and left. [A few days later, the phone rings]
Boy’s mom picked up, it was the girl. She wanted to speak to the boy. The mom (sobbing) told the girl that he passed away last week.
Later, the mom wanted to remember her son so she went to his room and opened his closet. There she found all the unopened CDs. She opened one and it had a note. It was from the girl. “Hi, I think you’re really cute, do you want to go out?” She opened one more. There was one more piece of paper, and the same thing in the next CD and so on…

“I, uh, I want to buy a CD,” he said. He picked up a random one and paid the girl.
“Would you like that wrapped?” she asked him, flashing him the cutest smile once again.
He nodded, and she went to get the supplies she needed.
She came back, wrapped the CD, and he took it and left.
The next day the boy went back and bought another CD, got it wrapped same as usual. He really wanted to ask her out but he didn’t have the courage. The boy repeated the same thing for the next few weeks. He put every CD in his closet.

A boy who was suffering from cancer had lived his whole life inside the house being taken care of by his mother.
One day he wanted to go outside,. His mother was hesitant but reluctantly agreed. He was sick of always being at home and she knew that. She let him go for a walk down the street.
He walked past a lot of stores and came across one particular one that sold CDs. He went inside. He saw the prettiest girl he had ever seen there and he knew immediately that he loved her. It was a classic case of love at first sight.
He walked up to the desk behind which she was working. He could not seem to notice anything else except her. She looked up at him and smiled. “Can I help you?” said she in the sweetest voice ever. He just wanted to kiss her right then and there, but he managed to think of something.
