A Woman’s View
By: King Clown
I’m almost perfect
I run miles you don’t see
I see the person in the mirror I won’t be
I place the flowers in the jar slightly to the left
Sad eyes and open mouth
Makes a beautiful person right?
Nobody cares about the inner fight
Just that you look good for the picture.
Just that you appeal to them
I put on paint for show
Just going to the store is a struggle without
I hear a snicker, scoff, or laugh
So without my paint my mind shouts
I have clothes
Wearing a dress like a princess
Paining heels miles high
I don’t have anything less
I don’t want to be pretty.
I want to be a human
Without lust looming
I love and I empathize
Why don’t you?
