I can’t walk today soooo....I apologize in advance for posting this (yesterday’s) leg workout. I would say this was a quad-dominant workout and if you can believe it, no supersets were involved!“REST WHEN YOU’RE DONE” because if you think you’re going to quit halfway through those 30 walking lunges, you’re frickin wrong! You CAN do more. Push past that mental block and get those reps done! . Do in any order you’d like: 4x15 Hip Thrusts on leg extension machine 4x15 Front squats (please don’t do these if you’re not experienced with them...they are not ideal on the smith machine but I have no choice at PF...use a barbell if you have one and sub back squats if you’d like) 4x30 Walking front rack lunges 4x15 Leg extensions 4x15 Leg Press, low and narrow 4x15 Goblet Squat 4x15 Sissy Squat . . . So 10 mins of stair master and a quick High intensity circuit a few times a week before @workitwithmg weights training has been really keeping me challenged, sweaty and sore... so god damn sore.... and sweaty .... but mostly sore🔥💦. . Give this a save and you’ll see whaTA I’m talkin bout 👏🏾 . 🏋🏽‍♂️wall sit with weight. Choose a weight that challenges you, DO NOT ARCH your back against the wall make sure your hips are tucked in, chest up, and tense literally everything in your body. Girl I want you to tense so hard your hair follicles feel the pressure. . 🏋🏽‍♂️renegade row with push up (My fkn baby goat shoulders can’t do the full push up but pls do if you can) Keep your core engaged !!! . 🏋🏽‍♂️banded jump squats. Ass to the grass and don’t point your toes out like I am🤓...keeping toes pointed forward will help target glute med instead of hip flexors. . 🏋🏽‍♂️walking lunges with overhead shoulder press hold. . each exercise for 45 seconds and idk do as many rounds as you feel you need to warm up (takes half a round to start sweating trust meh)🔥🔥🔥🔥 . Try this banger 💥 . It’s a mix of strength, power and conditioning. Fat is gonna get incinerated, while you develop explosive movement and muscle. . 5 rounds (get the work done with great form, within 2 minutes and take 2 minutes rest) . . 8 reps Tyre flip and jump overs. My tyre is 200kg so if you haven’t got a tyre, I’d say get around 110kg on a barbell and deadlift it instead. Hit a burpee tuck jump instead of the jump over for barbell work. . 6 reps 2 for 1 chest Press-Fly combo . 4 reps dumbbell bent row- iso hold goodmornings combo . . Don’t forget to shout “oh yeah” through it 😆🤘🏼

BEFORE AND AFTER XMAS So the majority of the Xmas frivolities are over and here is a #beastmode pose before and after comparison. I’m actually only half a pound heavier post Xmas but strangely probably look leaner but light/position/time of picture all contribute to differences. I haven’t really missed a planned session apart from Boxing Day where I was in recovery mode from the obscene amount of food and drink consumed. On rest of days I’ve probably been in the 2200 to 2500 calorie mark, perhaps a bit higher with a few beers 🍺 here and there. Got a couple of eating/drinking nights planned over next week for new year alongside normal training regime so will see what out turn is in terms of weight / body composition then plan for 2019 with @butterfield.jacob Think it’s fair to say you can still enjoy Xmas without resigning yourself to putting 10lbs of fat on! #festivebeforeandafter #bodytransformation #weightlosstransformation #personaltrainer #xmasworkout #bodybuilding #gym #gymrat #balanceddiet #balancedlife

Anyone else a bit sad the festivities are coming to an end?! 😩 Today's post topic is a bit of a rant/reflection😂 I remember last Christmas I was left feeling SO fluffy and let myself have the week off which I (sort of) enjoyed🤔 but actually I really longed for good food and some exercise so I knew this year I would workout over Christmas!🙃🍷 . I am quickly finding myself to be somebody who enjoys working out and 'fancies' going for a run 😂 and I am sick of hearing from family and friends how 'boring' or 'sad' that is🙅🏼‍♀️ If you enjoy something just bloody do it, I'm very lucky I have the health I do and it's not something I want to take for granted anytime soon, it's something I'd love to keep up with to ensure I am not only keeping myself in shape but that I feel good too! 😁✌ (fitness is a big help for me mentally as well as physically😊)! . Big run planned this morning so we'll see how far I get!!
