Reality is very subjective and we create our own reality, I learnt that everything changes and a lot is out of our control, the only thing we can really control is outlook!
When I started my YTT I was full of doubts and fears thinking I can’t do this and coming up with all the excuses how I can’t study all these terms, can’t do any inversions and I hate the philosophy class, then when I chose to relax and embrace every part of the experience, I feel a lot stronger and a lot more comfortable and guess what I look forward to the philosophy and anatomy classes.

❤️ it was perfect. ❄️ Caring for and guiding others through nature and yoga is such a big, beautiful, lovely responsibility. It’s both humbling and inspiring. I love watching other people light up by its beauty. 🌲 We are climbing our first winter peak in the ADK this December and headed to Scotland in March to continue the ascent into the Munros. But one thing that never stops amazing me, inspiring me and fueling me is the peace and joy that comes from a leisurely, calm, steady hike through the woods. No climb in elevation, no picks, no ropes, no stripping down of soaked layers halfway to the top. Just quiet, cozy, hands in mittens appreciation for the strength and stability the wisdom of the forest holds in her giant, silent glory. Monday is here again and I’m already yearning for the weekend. But I will be carrying a full blown autumn heart with me every step of the way until Friday. 🍁 Go outside, get some air and space. We're living in a world where there’s so much tension & stress & negativity that almost every human suffers from some kind of depression at some point in their lives. Make sure not to confuse your sadness with depression. Sadness is temporary, short term and fades away with time, whereas depression is a long term mental illness. It is something to be taken v seriously. It could be mild or major. All the major and severe types of depression must be consulted with psychologists (which no1. are v expensive i get it, solution to that is opening up to someone close to you & no2. even though it’s 2018 it’s still hard to make people, be it your family, understand that you need therapy)
Since winter is almost here, weather gets gloomy at times & it’s hard for some people to cope up with this weather, often people get depressed during this time. It drains all your hope and energy and you get all negative. Since I'm not an expert so I'll discuss all I know that can help an individual with their depression & stress. 🔆
🌸It's ok to have some time alone & grieve over things that are making you depressed, but give yourself a time limit (shouldn't be a lot) & do not exceed that.
🌸Try spending more time with people you love. Tell them how you feel, it'll definitely make you feel better, it's a guarantee. (trust me, I know how difficult it is to open up, but people you love are the ones who'll never judge you & accept you the way you are). 💕
🌸Indulge yourself in some activities that you love doing. They'll divert your mind for sometime.
🌸Do yoga! you can find millions of beginners' yoga videos on YouTube (in case you're doing it for the first time), focus on your breathing. Do not let your mind wander/divert. You'll feel relaxed.
🌸Last but not least, Understand the fact that this phase not here to stay forever, it might take time but it'll eventually end. Everything will be back to normal & you'll feel happy again.💛

Our physical spaces are not the only places requiring that we clean house. We must also tend to our mental inventory in order to release the things that weigh us down.💡 .
Yesterday, while binge watching Hoarders and cleaning my apartment, I made the conscious decision to discard of a few remaining gifts that represented final threads of connection to two people from my past. For so long, these items were displayed front-and-center on my coffee table. My initial action was to move them *toward* the trash can, but not in it. I immediately caught my hesitance, and put my foot down. In a bag and to the dumpster they went! I didn’t even realize the significance I was subconsciously tying to the trinkets by placing them in my direct line of sight every single day. Then, this morning, I woke up feeling a little bit lighter. .

🌀Когда у нас не получилась всего одна поза и мы расстраиваемся, то по сути - обесцениваем весь свой труд и всю практику! ⠀
🌀Из-за одной неидеальной позы- в мусорку и всю практику, в голове: «у меня ВСЁ не получается», «я НИЧЕГО не умею». ⠀ ⠀
🌀Айенгар говорил: поднимаясь в гору, можно оказаться на равнине и долго по ней идти, пока не начнется следующий подъем. И вот на этой равнине люди и теряют надежду на развитие. Сворачивают с пути, а новое восхождение оказывается уже рядом. ⠀
❗️На уровне мозга происходит так: когда вы учитесь делать новое действие, новую позу, мозг создает нейронные связи с нужными мышцами, учится координировать работу в новых действиях. На это нужно время. ⠀
🌀И вот вы научились, например, делать махи для стойки на руках. Но встать на руки не можете. Мозгу нужно время , чтобы закрепить прошлый навык/опыт (махи), и это период «прохождения равнины». И когда мозг готов развиваться/усложняться дальше, вы встаете наконец на руки! ⠀ ⠀
❤️ дайте себе время. Цените свой труд и потраченное время. Ведь иногда мы можем себе сказать так: «я большой молодец, потому что я ДЕЛАЮ йогу. Идеально или нет пока не так важно»

Good morning 💗 It was such a wonderful weekend! For the next couple of days now I will be preparing food for travel and making sure we have what we need. My carry on bag will be packed with cashew cheese, sweet potato/ chia crackers, cheese slices, superfood cookies and onion bread🙌🏼 The looks and questions I get 😂😂😂 My excitement is mounting 🤗 A bit of melon to fuel me first😘
He wants to join me 💕☀️ When we’re in downward facing dog position he’s definitely better than me 🤣🐕
