My first yoga crow pose! Still quite a way to go until it's perfect but it's all about Yoga-baby-steps I guess.
This week I did this pose for the first time in my life and in the beginning I could put my feet up to 1cm and like for 1 second 😅 I played with it few times at home and now I can do it much better 💪🏻 Love to challenge myself 😁
Call me crazy, I already book 9 yoga classes for 4 days 🤔 whoop
The best message I got today was that my boss is not coming before Wednesday so I can take a class in the morning YAY!! 😁🙏🏻

RECLINED TWIST: Twists get at tension in the spinal and abdominal muscles in a way that no other poses can. When doing reclined twists, we tend to hold and savor them longer, so it’s a little more important that we get our alignment right. Following the steps below will help make sure your spine is more in a line and less asymmetrically twisting (which can piss off SI or lower back issues).
Begin on the back, arms lay at your sides.
Place the bottoms of feet on the earth, knees bent
lift the hips off of the mat + shift them to the left (we do this to keep the integrity of the spine + keep the twist from turning into a backbend) letting the knees fall over to the right onto the earth.
If knees do not come to earth, place a block underneath them for support, to make surrendering in the twist a bit easier. ⋱
Follow with opposite sides (shift hips to right, knees fall to left)

Think for a moment about how we find gold.
This precious and beautiful substance is often discovered in some of the most inhospitable environments on earth, deep underground, underwater, in remote areas thatbare often very cold or very hot. And when we do find our way to the places where it's formed, it's often in tiny pieces, buried in mud.
The gold that lies inside you is similar. You're not going to find it if you're unwilling to get your hands dirty! You've got to stir up all that first and mud and open space for the light to shine in so you can see those yellow flecks of glorious gold. Hold on to that though and make it your mission at this stage to get comfortable being uncomfortable, slide on into the junk, and face what you're up against head-on.

It is uber vibrant, chaotic, westernized, super welcoming, very religious, sexy, cheap, breathtaking, poluted, intriguing ...all together and much more. But mainly it is a place that has a safe home in my heart.

Part 1 was more stretch focus led, part 2 is more strength led. Both equally as essential.
THE HOLLOW BODY.
The hollow body is something that I kept getting wrong for so long!!. Seriously. I couldn’t work it out after years of crunching. I hope this video helps you to break down what we’re trying to learn here. A straight spine!! Learn this move to destroy any remnants of back pain and also to understand the headstand / handstand lines!
The weight is NOT on your head. I repeat. The weight is NOT on your head. If it is, please pay attention to this video. The headstand is a phenomenal skill that requires patience, understanding and most of all real attention to detail. I love this move not only because there’s so much to it then first meets the eye but it teaches you to control your body when upside down. A super great all rounder.
