Balance has never been my forte. For as long as I remember I had done things like they were going out of style, even if that meant destroying opportunities, things or pushing away people that were important me.
Today I am grateful I no longer live & act out of fear. Fear is still present, but I do not attach to it.
Instead I face it head on. I take the time to observe, examine & appreciate whatever the circumstance or situation.
I had ran away for far too long. Today, I know where that leads me...alone, wanting, lacking and blaming. Truly a sad state.
My life is balanced more than it's ever been and I no longer find myself longing for the past or dwelling in the future. I take the steps daily to take care of me and in return everything falls into place the way it supposed to be.
Do you have steps & structure that lead you to a life of power & control ? A program? A toolbox of Survival?

I’ve reached a point in my life where I try to do handstands EVERYWHERE I GO, buy anything that has the word collagen on it, and have JUST figured out what I want to do when I grow up! Haha! .
Everyone’s journey is different… but the BEST PART is, you get to choose and decide what version of you, you want to be and how you’ll live out the day!
And wait… maybe THIS is the best part…. Every day is a NEW DAY!✨💜 #everydayisanewday#comparisonisthethiefofjoy#justbeyou
Welcome to Day 1 #transitionORpose where you choose if you want to practice the beginning pose, the end pose- or you can practice the transition!
For Day 1 I have our Transition from Warrior II ➡️ Revolved Half moon (swipe for still pictures of each pose!)
I’ve actually never flowed these together before until this challenge and...I LOVE IT! It might help if you bring your Warrior II feet in towards each other just a bit (if you are struggling with balance) and then really give that back leg a workout by pushing off through the foot as you draw the body tall, begin to rotate and find your revolved half moon! Also don’t forget to send energy out through your arms into your fingers-that line of energy will help as you twist and lengthen down while extending through the back leg. Grab Blocks if needed for your front hand and practice any other modification necessary for your body and your practice!
Excited to get this started!! Please tag all Hosts and Sponsors so we can see your posts!

You gotta have a sense of humour about yourself in yoga. 🤗 I chuckle at myself a lot thinking “ha not in this lifetime but I’ll try” and often I surprise myself with what my body is capable of or sometimes I’m right. It’s all a wonderful hilarious voyage 😘

--------Balance-------- I so loved to live in extremes.
Either I gave all I had to achieve what I was striving for or I indulged in lazyness.
I did not see the correlation of those up's and down's until Yoga became a part in my life.
When I had no goal I became highly depressed and made stupid decisions like wasting my time in Clubs, starting not to care for my body, chain-smoking cigarrettes/joints. I mean the nervousness had to be compensated somehow. The nervousness of knowing I will die one day, and what I do right now is not what I want & not how I see my self.
Those periods felt like a bad acid trip: Never ending & I will die like this.
Well, it did end....because somehow a new goal emerged.
Then I went nuts, as well. Knowing I already wasted my time on wasted nights. I was unavailable for everyone. No (explaining) replies to friends and/or family or anyone.
This felt like a good acid trip, though. I felt in control with a mission to achieve until accomplished
Then I didnt know what to do again.
Stupid decisions on repeat!
Every trip ends at some point. Good or bad.
The only trip I am pursuing now is that of yoga, because it's endless. It is not about a short-term goal.
It's adapting/understanding a practical philosophy on the road of consciousness. An infinite road.
@tripsonyoga lived in this vicious circle of self-harm, even when she did achieve her goals. The bad trip was just a success a way #balance
