so humbled by the weekend well spent teaching three 2.5 hour back-to-back yoga workshops with @flo.yoga.
somehow it was energizing and exhausting at the same time. i had a nonstop smile on my face witnessing the students that came and had breakthroughs in their practice - mentally, physically, emotionally.
i'm so honored to have the opportunity to teach yoga.
thank you to the dreamers, the philosophers, the teachers that carved this path before me.

I am 42.
I’ve been practising yoga for 25 years.
Teaching yoga for 14 years.
I run a small yoga studio in Devon called Pretzel Studio.
I live with my husband, two children (although one is now at university) and my sprollie dog.
When I’m not on my mat I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, running, pole-fitness and travelling. I also enjoy camping, log fires, peppermint tea and dark chocolate.
I have a Degree in Textiles and a Masters in History of Textiles.
I am eternally torn between life in Devon and life in the French Alps.

Daddy long legs spider. While teaching last night, a spider scuttled toward my mat. “I’m not above killing this spider..I’m kind of a recreational Buddhist,” I said as I smashed its tiny, gross body. You are a combination of dichotomies and contradictions. That’s perfect. When it’s not, is when you are unaware of the reasons behind your choices. Observe your judgements of others and question where in your life you came to feel so strongly about that subject. My blessed life has given me the chance to grow into someone who cares less than ever about the judgements of those not in my inner love circle. You can eat a plant diet and love Botox. You can love gas guzzling, fast cars and care about reducing your plastic waste. You can be a lover of kids and never want children. Know thyself, friends. And never stop enquiring about the “why” behind what you adore. Never stop being vulnerable and open to those with your best interests at heart. When you have safety and intimacy in your relationships, all parties get to see and be seen. RIP gross little spider. #yogaphotography #yoga #yogadaily #yogalove #attractionyoga

the more you love, the more you attract experiences into your life to love. It’s that simple. Maybe too simple for us to believe in modern society. We have the mentality that anything that seems too straightforward has a catch. This attitudes robs us of some of life’s simple and free truths. The awakened heart is one of life’s grandest simple truths. It requires no sacrifice nor cost us anything. It does, however, take a leap of faith to experience it. You must have faith that life won’t beat you down for letting your guard down. And this is what it takes- letting down your defenses to allow life to more freely flow through you. & faith that - love is the strongest force in the universe
This is hysterical. We all have our own brand of “weird”...own it & realize you’re not alone. When I started this work over 5 years ago, I was worried about what others would think. But it’s my dharma, it’s a part of who I am. This weekend I had the opportunity to guide about FIFTY women in meditation, 20 Saturday & 30 Sunday (normally there’s many men too, only had 1 lovely gentleman Sat). What an immense gift to share what I love & connect with others through this passion.
So, be weird, no such thing as “normal” anyways...
