Few things about me:
1. I’m 5’6” (ish)
2. I thought yoga was stupid when I was in HS.
3. Competition ran my life for the first 18 years.
4. I’m gunna be 25 in less than 2 weeks.
5. I’m currently trying to remind myself that s#!t happens and the only way through is through.

After an 11 hour flight the first thing that needs to happen is a good old stretch. Of course, the adventuring begins straight after!! Day One... We've made it to 8pm without falling asleep but after food and wine it's time for Netflix, chill, and sleeeeeep. 🍲🍷👌

you’ve been there. when you get so damn dropped in to doing something that you aren’t future-tripping, aren’t focused on the “what if’s”, aren’t analyzing or anxious...and all of the unnecessaries fall away.
listening to music, writing, working on a project, dancing, yoga, sex, working out, singing, breathing, a great conversation, stillness, meditation, walking, hiking, camping, painting, looking at the sky, laying on the beach, making a meal, eating a meal, getting a massage, giving a massage, laughing, relaxing, focusing...whatever it might be for you, you’ve been there.
a flow state isn’t something that has to only last for short periods of time.
it’s accessible always. always.
the question then becomes...can you give yourself permission to access it?
can you get out of your own way? stop over-thinking? stop over-analyzing? and instead, move and think and breathe intuitively?
it all comes down to trust.
trust in yourself.
trust in the fact that you are exactly where you need to be.
trust in the fact that the scary stuff might be your greatest lessons.
trust in that no matter what, you’ll be okay.
we’re all just here to learn. might as well roll with it. ❤️✨
I’m surprised you can’t see dog 💩 in this picture. It was literally all around me 🙃 LOL anyway, my evening has gone a little differently bc my client is sick :( but it gave me more time to sit & think about what my true purpose is for using my IG these days & share what my goals are! Bc who doesn’t love #goals
So my original purpose was to document my yoga practices & share them to inspire myself & others, which has really worked I think! 💓 & I still practice yoga daily, but considering my whole apartment is thick carpet, except our tiny kitchen & bathroom area, the carpet is really bad on my wrists & I honestly feel it’s limiting my practice not having a hard surface to consistently practice on. 😕 Praying for spring to fully arrive so I can be outside and practice. 🙏🏼🌞
Anyway, NOW my main focus is showcasing my practice anywhere & everywhere to inspire those that want to travel & do yoga!
My main goal is to teach yoga across the world. 🌎💫🧘🏻♀️
I’ve just recently picked up several new jobs to get on my #goals

There’s so much of this world that I still want to experience.
I am willing to easily spend the next year paying off & saving up every penny so I can live my wildest dreams. I don’t want an ordinary life. I want an extraordinary life! 💥🌎🗺✈️
I want to visit every country & every continent! Fill my entire passport with stamps of places I’ve been to! Teach yoga in all different countries & cultures, & meet beautiful people from all over the world! 💓🙏🏼🌎✨🧘🏻♀️⛰

I’m sure you’ve heard “nothing is permanent” at least once in your life, but what does that mean?
What it means that everything you’re experiencing on this physical plane is impermanent. If you can put a thought, word, emotion, or any sort of identifier to what you experienced — it is on this physical level. There’s a ton of levels to this physical realm too, so just because you might have experienced something so deep, new, and powerful, it is still in this physical level because you’re able to identify with it.
Now what’s it important here is to realize once you can put thoughts, feelings, actions, etc to it — you’re creating bondage through language diversion in order to live through liking/love and avoiding disliking/hate. You’re allowing this experience to latch onto your existence and pull you away from your gentle state of observation. Think of it this way: rather than walking into a divine forest and trying to become the trees around you, just sit amongst them. Breathe in their scent, feel the oxygen move around you, and realize that you are exactly where you’re suppose to be and you have everything that you need. And remember to avoid trying to become what you’re experiencing because it is always impermanent. Don’t allow experiences to create mental bondage to the physical world. And if you do find yourself lost in your thoughts — the power of meditation will be your guide back home. 💭 .

This year is being kinda tough on me. It had its ups and downs. Actually I’m surprised by the unexpected reactions my body and mind had in some situations. There is so much to learn still, in both spectrums. I’m willing to do the work but I feel very lost. Needing someone to guide the way 💡

Day 5 of #BornToBeQueens
is any inversion, & I always figure that headstands are the easiest inversions to funk up, so I went with this crossed leg, fingertip one 💁♀️ My teacher, Swami Khecaranatha, always says that challenges are there to help us grow, & instead of moaning about them we should say ‘thank you Universe’ & be grateful for them (he can be quite blunt sometimes 😅) Every challenge we face is an opportunity to discover our infinite nature... If life was easy all of the time, we would never have any fuel or motivation for our spiritual practice, or to get out of the nice little boxes that we end up putting ourselves in. I just thought that it’s a good way to look at it... If you’re serious about evolving spiritually, when life throws something at you, take it as a gift that the universe is offering you to grow & open up more than you ever thought possible.
