Also left my favourite ring on this table and someone stole it 🙁 so that sucks. But still having such a great time with my love 💖 soaking up every moment
i feel like a child discovering everything i’ve ever loved with new eyes. nourishing my roots with fresh water. ascending higher with deeper breath. letting what will be just be. open eyes. open heart. always.
I just really needed to share this, for a couple of reasons.
1st. Yes, I know wholeheartedly that not all men are creeps! 😊🙌🏾🙌🏾💯 And if imma put the creeps on blast, then I gotta give it up to the good guys also!
2nd. I've been really overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support and ENCOURAGEMENT I've received from so many different people, both privately and publicly this week! Just like this sweet little message here. Like my heart is so full, it is about to bust! ❤❤❤🙏🏾 Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who took the time to not only read what I had to say but also took the time to reach out to me. So many people encouraging and URGING me to be great! Y'all are the best, and it means so much to me! Big love to all the lovers! I feel the love, I really do. And honestly, I think I havent really been very open to receiving love for a while...but it was always there and I thank everyone who is always in my corner! #gratitude #love
Your mind is your prison when you focus on your fear.
With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. 🙏🏼
What she has to say about yoga:💬
"I started yoga last year after hearing about Jen through a friend. I would have never thought yoga was for me because I was not bendy at all. Here I am a year later and cannot imagine life without it. I am more flexible, more focused, and grateful for starting the practice. ❤️ ❤️❤️Yoga."
|| BE OPEN || Last year a friend gave me a note that said “Be Open” and it was the first thing that came to my mind when I woke up this morning. The most perfect mantra for our retreat practice earlier today. It was a magical morning; full of open hearts, open minds and open energy. The happiness, the sadness. It was all so welcome. Feeling so inspired by every woman here with me. Absolutely loved our morning and then a day relaxing and getting know them even more at the beach. Can you tell I like running retreats!? I’m so honoured that I get to bring people together and have these experiences with them. 💙☀️✌🏼 And to that friend who gave me the note, thank you for the constant reminder tucked away in my memory. #catmeffanyoga
Working on Pincha hollow back today !
Half of Yoganidrasana .
Yoganidrasana relives in stress, fatigue & relaxes your mind.
Sleeping Yogi Yoga pose stretches and strengthens your hamstrings, hip flexors, calves and spinal muscles.
Best hip opener posture. Yoganidrasana gives you the benefits of both meditation and half sleep.
You have to breathe deeply during the Asana. Yoganidrasana is coming under the Advanced yoga pose so, this may cause injury if attempt it in a wrong way. To perform this Asana in under the supervision of an expert person.
Avoid Yoganidrasana (Sleeping Yogi Yoga pose), in case of tight hamstrings or inflexibility; for this problem first performs other basic Asana for flexibility and hamstrings. In spinal, knee, neck, lower back or shoulder injury avoid this Pose. Attempt this pose with your trainer, if you’re attempting this pose for the first time.
Visvamitrasana II or
Seated Compass Pose, also referred to as Sundial Pose - Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana(Parivrtta = revolved, Surya = sun, Yantra = instrument) is a simultaneously grounding and expansive yoga posture with powerful energetic effects. Rich in symbolism, the pose uses the body as an instrument to guide us back home.
This intermediate/advanced yoga posture requires equal parts strength and flexibility. Several areas of the body need to be warm and open before moving into this pose. Teachers will often sequence an entire class to peak in Sundial Pose, progressively opening the hips, groins, hamstrings, shoulders and side bodies.
The good news is, this pose is built in clear, preparatory stages with a handful of different options for beginners, including using a strap to bridge the gap between foot and hand for those with tighter shoulders and hamstrings. Working all of the actions required in Revolved Head-to-Knee Pose (Parvritta Janu Sirsasana) is an excellent precursor to Sundial Pose.
I am so full of joy – and yet full of fear.
Give all your energy to joy, and fear will disappear. Ignore fear, don’t pay any attention to fear, because the more attention you pay to it, the longer it will linger on. Pour yourself totally in the direction from where joy is arising, and fear will disappear just as darkness disappears when you bring light in.
Joy is light. And joy is the beginning of a great pilgrimage that ends in finding godliness. So go on – without any fear, because existence always protects those who trust it. Relax, give yourself to existence and allow the joy to overwhelm you. Let it become your wings, so that you can reach to the stars.
A joyful heart is very close to the stars.
It is only the sad and the sorrowful and the miserable who are going towards hell. They are creating their hell. The joyful and the singing and the dancing and the celebrating are creating their paradise by each of their songs, by each of their dances.
It is in your hands whether to create paradise or to fall into a darkness, into hellfire. These are not outside you; these both are within you. It all depends what you choose to be.
Choose to be divine, choose to be more and more a celebrant, choose to be festive, so more and more flowers can blossom in your being, and more and more fragrance can become available to you.
And this way will not only help you, it will help all those with whom you come in contact. Joy is as infectious as any disease. When you see a few people dancing, suddenly you feel your feet are ready. You may try to control them, because control has been taught to you, but your body wants to join the dance. Whenever you have an opportunity to laugh, join; whenever you have an opportunity to dance, join; whenever you have an opportunity to sing, sing – and one day you will find you have created your paradise.
It is a good beginning. Never listen to negative things, because if you listen to them they can poison you, they can destroy your joy – keep it pure, unpolluted .And here are people who will dance with you, who will celebrate, because you have taken the first step towards existence.(c) Osho
Can anybody meditate ? I get asked this question a lot. I suspect people ask because they think that probably everybody else can meditate but they can’t. They want to be reassured that they are not alone, that there are at least some other people they can identify with, those hapless souls who were born incapable of meditating. But it isn’t so simple.
Thinking you are unable to meditate is a little like thinking you are unable to breath , or to concentrate or relax.
People often confuse meditation with relaxation or some other special state that you have to get to or feel. When once or twice you try and you don’t get anywhere or you didn’t feel anything special, then you think you are one of those people who can’t do it.
But , meditation is not about feeling a certain way. It’s about feeling the way you feel. It’s not about making the mind empty or still, although stillness does deepen in meditation and can be cultivated systematically. Above all, meditation is about letting the mind be as it is and knowing something about “how” it is in this moment. It’s not about getting somewhere else., but about allowing yourself to be where you already are. If you don’t understand this, you will think you are constitutionally unable to meditate. But that’s just more thinking , and in this case, incorrect thinking at that.
True, meditation does require energy and a commitment to stick with it. But then, wouldn’t it be accurate to say , “ I won’t stick with it” rather than, “ I can’t do it?” Anybody can sit down and watch their breath or watch their mind. And you don’t have to be sitting. You could do it WALKING, STANDING, RUNNING, STANDING ON ONE LEG, laying down or taking a bath. But to stay at it even a 5 min requires intentionality. To make it part of your life requires discipline. So when people say they can’t meditate, what they really mean is that they WONT make time for it . Or when they try , they don’t like what happens. It doesn’t fulfill their expectations. So may be they should try again, this time letting go of their expectations and just watching. (c) #WheneverYouGoThereYouAre #meditation
