If all yoga pants were the same, there would be no reason to own 50 shades of yoga pants. Am I right ladies? Let’s be real, some are all about style while some are about a butt lift. Others are perfect for running to Target while others are your BFF on those days where you’re totally feeling bloated and just can’t be bothered wearing anything else. And I’m not sure how many I’m guilty of heading into Costco on a mission to get fruit and veggies, only to have squirrel moments and find myself with every color of yoga pants in stock, then getting home and thinking anyplace where you can buy yoga pants, a lifetime supply of TP and bananas the size of my head, is my kind of store. Then there’s those impulse buys where I only wear on special occasions because I splurged, and by special, I mean, I will be photographed or seen in them by the public, while there’s the ones deep at the bottom of my drawer that only see the daylight because I feel sorry for them and I’m not taking selfies in them. Who is with me? Don’t leave me hanging! And come on, 30 days in a month means 30 opportunities! Staff Pose: Step-by-Step Instructions
Sit on the floor with your legs together and extended in front of your torso. If your torso is leaning back, it may be because
tight hamstrings are dragging the sitting bones toward the knees and the back of the pelvis toward the floor. It may be helpful
to sit on a blanket or a bolster to lift the pelvis.
A simple way to check alignment is to sit with your back against a wall. The sacrum and the shoulder blades should touch the wall,
but not lower back or the back of the head. Put a small rolled-up towel between the wall and the lower back.
Sit towards the front of the sitting bones, and adjust the pubis and tail bone equidistant from the floor. Without hardening the belly,
firm the thighs, press them down against the floor (or your support), rotate them slightly toward each other, and draw the inner groins
toward the sacrum. Flex your ankles, pressing out through your heels.
To lengthen your front torso perpendicular to the floor, think of energy streaming upward from the pubis to the sternum,
then down the back from the shoulders to the tail bone. Then imagine the tail lengthening into the floor.
Imagine your spine as the "staff" at the vertical core of your torso, rooted firmly in the Earth,
the support and pivot of all you do. I use to hate public speaking.
I use to think it was for crazies who were pretending to be really happy.
I thought you’d only like public speaking if you were perfect and knew the answer to every single potential question.
I thought you’d only get excited if you were a motivational speaker.
Until I found my voice.
I found my passion, my drive, my WHY and suddenly I’m so happy to be in front of hundreds of people.
It’s a daily practice, of course.
But damn, I’m happy to have found a few things that make me this happy! 🙌🏼

15-20 minutes of direct sunshine a day is required to produce minimum amounts of vitamin-D. Coincidently, 15-20 minutes a day of meditation does wonders for your body and mind. So take 20 for your skin to soak up the sun and allow your mind to absorb the space.

I often wonder if my love for shoes developed from all the years I hung my head and believed the negative lies about myself? My shoes would have been a consistent view for me... -It's seems silly to think shoes and self doubt could be linked right??!?!- Self doubt, insecurities, stress, overwhelmed, and unhappiness can show up in many forms... -excessive shopping "to keep up with the Jones's"
-eating our emotions with carbs and sweets -drinking our emotions with alcohol -waisting our days on the coach...Netflix series, after series, after series
-shutting our close friends and family out of our lives
-anger, blowing up on close friends or family for no reason at all
The world wants to keep us wallowing in the shame of past mistakes, but the truth is we don't have to!
We were given GRACE a long long time ago! No matter how bad our past is...our future doesn't have to repeat it!
When God looks at us he doesn't see all of the mistakes, pain, and unworthiness. He has already forgiven and moved on...
What if we chose to look at ourselves with that same type of reflection? Through the mirror that is tilted up to reflect God's view of our lives?? This isn't an easy mind shift to master but with daily forward activity of taking care of yourself...YOU CAN GET THERE! -eating healthy foods to give you energy and stamina
-go for a stress relieving run or clear your mind through weight training
-take the time each day to sit alone in silence...learn to love just being with yourself ( even for just 5-10 mins ) -start a personal development book to help bring more positive thoughts and feelings into your soul 👆🏻 Pick one to start today...after of week of mastering it add a 2nd and so on. Eventually you will crave your daily self care routine and you will begin to walk with your head held high loving the life you have actually begun to LIVE! 💜
