Возьмём в пример меня пита-кафа огненно-спокойный человек.
▪️Думаю что, пита во мне преобладает над Кафой. Об этом говорят мои многочисленные веснушки и зеленые глаза.
Я рассуждаю чтобы помочь вам взглянуть на картину в целом.
▪️Итак, Пита - кафа.
Если я много двигаюсь, ем острую, кислую и жирную пищу, жаркая пита выходит из под контроля и сложно остановится.
▪️Повышается мой внутренний, и без того сильный, жар, делаюсь раздражительной, злой, могу вспыхнуть от мелочи. Еда и вода потребляется в больших количествах. И при всём этом ненормально худею.
▪️Много кофе, чая, фруктов и сырых кислых овощей усиливают и без того жаркое пищеварение. Начинается изжога.
▪️Моя кафа все-таки не настолько завладевает мной, так как я занимаюсь йогой каждый день. Но если пропустить хотя бы несколько дней занятий и не изменить питание, начинается бесконтрольный сон, лень, тяжесть и боль в теле.
▪️Как выяснилось, более тяжелая пища мне как раз подходит. Всевозможные крупы и термически обработанные овощи заходят отлично. А вот салатики я есть не могу, но очень люблю. Разные сырые овощи в одном блюде это стопроцентное расстройство желудка.
▪️Я вам расскажу на что нужно обратить внимание каждому типу доши. А вы уже поэксперементируйте сами.

Swinging into a 4day weekend like...
Just started the day with some power yoga, it was quite hard and definitely got the heart rate up!

Having a morning of self care and reflecting on my yoga practice. Life is very busy and finding the time to get on your mat can be difficult. If we were living in an ashram, our practice would be regular and solid. We would be practising meditation, Bhakti, asanas more than once a day. That would be our sole focus. But that isn't how life goes for most. Remember, reaching samadhi doesn't necessarily happen in one lifetime. Whatever we practice now will go on into our next life. Our soul will carry those imprints. We have jobs, family and other commitments. We can't spend all of our time on our mat. But what we can do is take our practice off the mat and into the world. Yoga is a lifestyle. It isn't just asanas. Be kind, loving and compassionate. Carry that out into the world. And whatever asana practice you can achieve is great even if 10 minutes here or there. Use your asana practice to unwind, release your body and any emotional blockages so you can extend your love outwards.

John Scott style ✌️🤸♀️ Never thought I'll say this, but the splits feel amazing 😂 First time I did a split was in 2016 with @stephanie_viu_kessler
, I believe. Then for almost 2 years did not attempt that again until the retreat with John this summer when he gave me the splits in the standing sequence. And I realized they feel so much better now than years back.
Yesterday I even managed to hold a solid handstand for 3-4seconds, no shaking, no fear,just strength and stability. La vie est belle 🌹
Conclusion : Be happy about the little steps in life. Celebrate your joy! It's never just about physical transformation. We can translate the lessons from the practice to help us get to know ourselves better and live to the best of our abilities. The mind, the body and the breath are always interconnected. Believe in yourself and never give up! 💪

Not being able to touch your toes in a forward fold doesn’t make you bad at yoga, me being able to almost touch my elbows in a forward fold doesn’t make me good at yoga - all it means is that you might have tighter hamstrings than me! Yoga is not measured by our physical flexibility or our physical strength, because there is no such thing as being good or bad at yoga. Yoga is a practice, it’s a daily ritual. So show up on your mat, show compassion and kindness towards others and especially towards yourself, breathe – that is yoga.

Two variations of a puppy pose, both open up the shoulders and chest, and help with the spine’s flexibility. One is a passive pose and the second one is an active pose. Neither is better than the other. Don’t focus on how advance your poses are in your practice but rather how they feel. Focus on being able to breathe in the pose and listen to your body, it’s your greatest teacher. I love both of these variations, but to be honest with you I do the first one way more often than the second one! What’s your favourite puppy pose? Do you use props sometimes, like a sofa or a wall??

I’ve been super productive this week and I’m fully back into my exercise regime, so I definitely feel like I deserve a weekend off.
It’s crazy how much better you can feel from exercising 30 minutes a day. The benefits are huge! And I’m definitely finally feeling them!

Can you believe it’s already November?! I feel like the year has gone by quite quickly but I also feel like it has been the longest year of my existence.
It’s definitely been year full of change (mostly amazing changes, some unsettling changes) but I’m finally feeling a bit more steady. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t forget to reflect on your past year and give yourself credit for everything you have accomplished, not matter how big or small.

1st of November today which means Halloween is over and we can officially start getting excited about Christmas!!! I know I will be going Christmas crazy starting today haha.

I love this season and the build up to it because you find people are happier, kinder and warmer to each other.
However people also get too generous during this season without realising this can harm the environment. Half (or more) of the stuff we buy will end up in the trash. Christmas is not about presents! So if you are someone who goes overly excessive with buying gifts why not try and be better this year and shift your focus. Think whether the gifts you’re buying will be used or whether you are just giving into the marketing ploy and wasting your money and damaging environment on top of it. Be kind to our planet, there is no planet B. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Happiness is soo connected to materialism. But it’s the free things in life that actually make us happy.
So why not this season and this Christmas just focus on being present, doing things with your friends and family and enjoy spending time with them.
Don’t spend money or time chasing the things the market tells you we need. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It was -1 this morning when I got up.
Freeeezing... but I do enjoy crispy and refreshing mornings.
There are positives and negatives in everything. Just gotta focus on the positives if you can. Which is exactly what we’re trying to do at home, cause motivation and energy is quite low at the moment.

On such a cold morning I couldn’t help but post a throwback when I was holidaying in beautiful and hot Zanzibar.
All I’ve been doing is yoga and walking for last 2 weeks. I have been struggling to find motivation for a gym workout lately, I find I always do after a trip.
On top of that it’s getting colder and darker... all I want to do it is wear my fleece pjs and drink tea. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I woke up early and did a HIIT workout, felt soo good to do it. Let’s hope I’ll manage to do more than 1 this week 🤷🏼♀️🙈 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You should speak and think about yourself the way you talk and think about your favourite person. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So do something for yourself whether it’s for your body or your mind!
And if you haven’t done so already today, look in the mirror and give yourself a compliment. Say it out loud not in your head and BELIEVE it!
