📷😍Yesterday, while selecting a photograph for my Instagram post I came across the photo of mine and what I could see was a happy face. 😊😊😊 It was amazing to see myself sitting comfortably in ‘Lotus pose,’ Padmasana that was one of my dream yoga poses. 😱😱 . . To tick, the list of my wishful poses I went through strong adjusts, 😣two knee ligament injuries 🚶🏻‍♀️and pushing myself harder 😧at times till one day I decided to ‘Pause,’ and Be Mindful.’☝🏻🚦🧘🏻‍♀️ . . I started to become kind towards my body and attentive of my anatomy that is unique and does not require a push and pull to make it perfect. ♥️ Days pass by, and I continue to ‘Pause’ and ‘Be Mindful,’ and till today I prefer sitting in a comfortable cross-legged that is equally gorgeous as of Lotus Pose. ✅🧘🏻‍♀️✅ . . The day when this photo was clicked, thought to give it a shot and attempt to Lotus pose was ‘Effortless,’ 😲I was surprised to be at ease and how comfortable I sat for a few more snaps. 😎🤩 . . ‼️The picture is a reminder for me to avoid the unnecessary competition with self and be happy in days when I am sore and in days when I am open to explore the posture further because THE FINAL DESTINATION OF PRACTICING YOGA IS NOT ONLY A PERFECT POSTURE BUT ALSO HAPPINESS.☀️🌳💁🏻‍♀️ . . ▪○◇ K I D S ▪ Y O G A ◇○▪ School has started and we are welcoming all the newly arrived and freshly returned parents and children! We are recommencing our popular Kids Yoga class at a new time that is more convenient for both you and your loved ones. Our Kids Yoga is a mix of yoga sequences, yoga inspired games, and a small introduction to meditation and breath awareness. The sessions finish with story telling and colouring in, which introduces a chance for the kids to have an open discussion and learn about mindfulness. It is the perfect wind down to a busy day of school, helping the kids tune into the peace within. Classes start at 3.30 to 4.15 pm on Mondays, from 17th September onwards led by the beautiful Merve Onay. She has a wealth of experience in Kids Yoga and has a deep passion to plant yogi seeds and support them as they grow through their journey. In 2015 she completed her 200 hr Hatha Teacher Training with Ipek Darga. She continued with her Yoga Education specialising in Kids Yoga with  Dr. Neslihan Iski in Turkey. Following that with Rainbow Kids Yoga in the UK. She has also completed a Spine Strength Workshop with Monika Munzinger in Turkey and she is currently working on completing her course certification to teach kids between 4 - 12 years from The International Academy for Mindful Teaching. When I started my practice it was a competition with myself:harder!faster!stronger! I was extremely into Ashtanga and advanced Vinyasa. Actually, I have no idea what actually vinyasa is. As back to Ukraine all teacher mostly focused in Hatha yoga. I was doing Asanas without any intentions, taking only benefits for my physical body and rejecting any mindful discipline. Meditation was making me extremely aggressive. I was blind... Meeting Niya yoga teachers and community completely transform my practice, my lifestyle and myself in general. I m not only practicing yoga, I m practicing how to live happy life. One year ago with any doubts I step on the beginning of new journey. To share my practice with others. I signed up for NiyaYTT. It was challenging, but I never had even 1 second of doubts. It was just so right.
