tried to keep my diet during my trip, but it didn't go as planned😭😭 it was hard to stick to my healthy diet because I didn't want to break the holiday mood. Every time Harry cooked fabulous dish for us, I couldn't resist it😅😅 So I had some healthy snack in between meals. .

Homemade greek yogurt with pumpkin, banana, blueberries and chia seeds😍
Sometimes life gets busy and we don't feel like cooking. When a mood like this strikes me I often turn to plain greek yogurt because it's a great source of protein and it won't throw my macros off. To make it a more balanced option I like to add some healthy toppings. This time for some healthy fats I added pecans (my fave), pumpkin seeds and chia seeds. For some carbs and micronutrients I added some frozen blueberries. Frozen fruit can really change the texture of the Greek yogurt and of course adds some sweetness which in my opinion makes it feel more like a rich dessert.

I love winter but minus degrees are not necessary. anyways lately I literally forget that instagram exists I'm all over the place in rl and overwhelmed w emotions and thoughts so I tend to post my meals the next day. felt good towards the end of the day after all the bloat has finally gone down and having fasted for literally the longest time ever. which I'm quite proud of and it defs did me good in terms of digestion and giving my body time to work through all the food I threw at it.

I got this new bowl yesterday and I absolutely love it💟. It's weird because a few years ago if you had told me I would be excited about a bowl I probably would have laughed in your face😂 oh, how times have changed....
Breakfast deats: mango smoothie (frozen mango, coconut milk, coconut flour), yogurt mixed with vanilla and stevia, caramelized crispy coconut (see what I did there), and fresh passion fruit straight out of our garden😊😍
To make the caramelized crispy coconut: put 1/2 tsp cacao butter (or coconut oil) and 1/4 tsp maple syrup in a nonstick pan then add 1/4 cup shredded coconut. Stir constantly over high heat until golden brown. Let cool slightly until crispy😎
So we just missed our flight, which means 3 days of makeup work!!🙃...Lord help me..

Who says a treat can’t also be healthy?? Ice cream is one of my many weaknesses and I’d seriously eat it everyday if a single spoonful didn’t seem to add 3lbs to my belly. 😂
But I found this neat little “banana split” dish on Pinterest somewhere (can’t remember where) and I had to try it out.
It’s basically banana split with with yogurt taking place of ice cream.
Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t beat the heavenly taste of my precious ice cream, but It’s so bomb and it satisfies my sweet tooth. 👍🏾🤤 I definitely recommend for those of you who can’t shake your cravings sometimes.
Now that I’m thinking of it, I may try smoothie ice cream next time instead of yogurt 🤔. That’s sounds even better! 😮 Has anyone tried that? Let me know if you have tips or suggestions 🤗

Granola recipe —> about 2 cups @momsbestcereal
oatmeal, a teaspoon of @terrasoul
maca, 2 tablespoons of @traderjoes
flaxseed meal, about 3 tbsp. of @beekeepers_naturals
honey, a generous amount of cinnamon, 2 tbsp. of crunchy pb and about 8 dates soaked in warm water then blended. I mixed it all together then baked on 350 for about 20 minutes! It’s delicious 🤗
