G R A C E 🦋 Stop trying and start being | Romans 5: 2, 18-21
You already have a perfect relationship with God. You don't have to try to earn his time or his ear. From day one, your relationship was already perfect. The day you said YES, was the day you first responded to God who says, "I love you, my worthy friend." 👑
I'm praying that every voice saying "you lack" would be silenced. Any places in your life that look unlovely, God is conquering with his unfailing love and deep pools of grace to reveal the treasure he's placed inside of you. 💎
Let there be joy that overwhelms you with the realization that God sees you as a holy place worth celebration. 💕🎉
ROMANS 5: 2, 18-21
Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! ...just as condemnation came upon all people through one transgression, so through one righteous act of Jesus’ sacrifice, the perfect righteousness that makes us right with God and leads us to a victorious life is now available to all. One man’s disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also one man’s obedience opened the door for many to be made perfectly right with God and acceptable to him. So then, the law was introduced into God’s plan to bring the reality of human sinfulness out of hiding. And yet, wherever sin increased, there was more than enough of God’s grace to triumph all the more! And just as sin reigned through death, so also this sin-conquering grace will reign as king through righteousness, imparting eternal life through Jesus, our Lord and Messiah!

Done is better than perfect ✨
So many of us — I am totally raising my hand — chase perfection. Not for some vanity reason but because we care, we want to make it — whatever IT is — as great as possible. And in the process, we cause ourselves a lot of suffering because perfection isn’t actually something we can ever catch — there is always a way to make something better.
Done is better than perfect because done is a step forward. Done is a new starting point. Having something be done feels like progress and feeling like you’ve made progress is literally fuel to keep going✨
Yesterday we slowly, quietly launched the brand new 21-Day Happier Challenge digital course (link in profile to details how you can get it as a totally free bonus when you pre-order my book.)
It was 6 months in the making, with so much hard work and equal share sweat and tears✨
We delayed the launch week after week to polish some stuff, change some videos, correct issues we saw. And I felt so awful about delaying it after promising the hundreds of amazing souls who have already pre-ordered my book that it would be live ✨
So yesterday was the day. I set a deadline and we worked non-stop leading into it to make it work. BUT not everything was done. IT WASN’T PERFECT 😳
Usually I wouldn’t allow myself or the team to release anything that I don’t feel was “perfect” (what does that mean anyway?) But this time, I said let’s go! And we launched the course — great but not perfect, with some little bugs we are now fixing.
And you know what?! That was the right call. We got it done! That felt so good for the team, like a pause to exhale, celebrate, and feel encourage to now get back to work and keep cranking. It wasn’t the end, it wasn’t like we walked away saying well, done is done.
Done is better than perfect. Done is a new beginning you can start from. With new energy and joy. And joy is such great fuel!

Everyone has a story, and everyone’s story needs to be heard. Tell your story often. Remember where you came from. Remember what you have overcome. Remind yourself how strong you’ve become. And be proud of how much you’ve accomplished. Being humble and being proud are two very different things. In order to live a fulfilling life, you need to be both of these things. Be humble, and remember where you came from. Be proud of where you’ve led yourself on this journey. Be proud of your story. 🌄
As I wrap up my short lived career as a florist (lol), I have been reflecting on HOW MUCH I have learned about myself over the past year since I have graduated. Here are a few nuggets of self discovery I have stumbled upon in my heart!
-I have an extremely creative brain
-I do not work well with structured jobs
-I have a hard time following rules (that aren’t my own ha)
-I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit
-I need new & spontaneous experiences to thrive/be happy -I am passionate about holistic health & wellness
-I can do anything when I put my mind to it
Cheers to the beautiful ending to this chapter of life and the incredible beginning of a new one!
I am FASCINATED by the human body and how resilient we are even if we don’t see it! Every time you feel like you’re not “good enough” go through the following facts and really let these things soak in to your being.
1. YOUR human body is made up of 50 TRILLION cells
2. Each second, every cell in YOUR body coordinates BILLIONS of chemical reactions
3. Every day YOUR heart beats 100,000 times and pumps 7500 liters of blood through 96,000 kms of blood vessels
4. Every month YOU completely regenerate your outer layer of skin
5. Every 10 years YOU completely replace every bone in your body
All this to say YOU ARE AMAZING WITHOUT EVEN TRYING! So don’t sweat it if you’re not where you wanna be, you slip up, or your don’t feel adequate, because you are doing incredible things by just being YOU! You’ll get there, just enjoy the journey!

I find myself tempted lately to grasp at the future. Like an ignorant child, I build a fortress of desires for the future around me, while reality and the present moment and all the wonderful opportunities to love and live whisk by outside the walls. But today I am taking a walk outside my fortress and living in the present moment. I won’t worry about if my health coaching business isn’t up and running yet, I will just sit here and learn about breastfeeding and be blown away by the beauty of the body and science and our good good Creator and know that that’s more than enough for today 😊

Anything worth doing in life is never easy. Farming is one of those things. Today was freezing but we harvested for market tomorrow and planted 450 onion plants! Come by the Bryan market tomorrow morning to see your favorite farmers! 👩🏼🌾👨🏻🌾

Our little home. “To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.”

As we wake up to a brand new year, let us contemplate just how much we have been given and have to give. In Rome, Nicholas and I saw many beggars and people sleeping on the streets and in train stations. These were not people who would ask for money during the day and go home to nice houses in the evening. These were truly people of poverty, many of them older and crippled. Nicholas and I did what we could to help, but the numbers were overwhelming. Part of my heart throughout the whole trip was aching and welling up with this profound empathy and it aches as I type because I have never lived in the heart of a city before and encountered genuine poverty with such frequency. It was truly humbling and reignited a desire to give ourselves away to those in need. Each day is a new opportunity to give yourself as a gift to someone else. This is Nicholas and I’s resolution and our prayer for you this year. Buon Anno! ❤️
