Life can be full of tasks needing to be done. Once in awhile we should unplug and relax.
More views of this fascinating lake. The crater was also named the Witches Cauldron, which gave names to Wizard Island and the Phantom Ship 🌋⛰

Exploring Forest Park with the family!
My first time experiencing this place and it was simply amazing! I can see why it's one of the most iconic views of Mount Hood. Even though this place has been photographed a million times it didn't stop me from capturing my own personal memory.
By the way I took a two day adventure around this area and if you would like to see Day 1 click on my profile photo to view my new ig story leading up to capturing this image...

Search for the seed of good in every adversity. Master that principle and you will own a precious shield that will guard you well through all the darkest valleys you must traverse. Stars may be seen from the bottom of a deep well, when they cannot be discerned from the mountaintop. So will you learn things in adversity that you would never have discovered without trouble. There is always a seed of good. Find it and prosper. (Quote by - Og Mandino)

Still snow-covered in late June, Mt. Washington near Sisters, Oregon looking beautiful on a cloudy day
I went to Saddle Mountain for my first solo hike, expecting a fairly easy climb. It ended up being an almost 2000 feet elevation gain in 2.85 miles (about 5.5 round trip). The last push before the summit was pretty steep and the ground is very loose (I fell on my butt twice...) but so worth it! Hiking solo was something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and I’m glad I got the courage to do so. I was able to wake up in the morning and spontaneously go for a hike, without having to worry about making plans or wondering who is free or wants to go. Ladies, don’t let fear hold you back from being your adventurous selves and live your dreams!! 🌲👣🏔🍃
Change of plans. Just me, my mom and our kayak for my birthday.
