Who says eating healthy has to be boring and tasteless? Don't eat less. Eat smarter and healthier to lose weight and get fit.
One of the strangest concoctions I have ever put together, but tastes pretty good and it's something beneficial to have during a fast.
The acidic acid in the apple cider vinegar helps control blood sugar levels, thus hunger, while increasing mineral absorption. The electrolytes are there to replace the minerals lost during a long fast.
It's not enough to be motivated, because you lose your motivation in time. It is that moment when you turn it into habit that counts as a big help for keeping you going. Create a habit if you want to be successful!
You can't tell, but I was drenched when I took this pic. I have a love/hate relationship with leg day. I love it. Leg exercises are my favorite. But they KILL me 😣 My favorites are squats and deadlifts and man do they get the sweat pouring!
Also, I tried hip thrusts for the first time today. I used a 20lb dumbbell for weight. I don't know how I've never done these before. And lemme tell ya... 🔥🔥🔥I've never felt my glutes so much. I see now why people say this is such a great exercise!
Legs/glutes are jello. The DOMS will be rough.
Bench has consistently been smooth so far. Pretty stoked on how progress I made with the lift 👌

🔹Lunge- Squat- Lunge- Squat: The worst exercise. You do all four of those movements and count it as one rep. Try not to bounce too much. I did 3 sets of 10 here. And superset it with the next exercise. .
🔹Bulgarian Lunges- I will forever hate these. No matter how often I do them they still burn. Try to position most of your weight in your back leg. I did 3 sets of 8 on each leg. Definitely lost my balance when I switch legs so if you’re more coordinated than me you can avoid this part 😂 still sore from this 🙈

I've been spending the last few days getting some new girls set up for my summer wellness club (enrollment deadline is Thursday for all you fellow procrastinators😜), finishing up a prep e-book for all my clients, spending bday money on some new clothes, and soaking in time with family before I take off for my trip to Indy this evening. 🌟 REFEED DAY with Marie’s Marvellous Macro Creations 🌟 I’m just going to call this creation - Hot Apple Mess.
.🔸 2 pieces of toast (I use Helga’s rye)
.🔸 150g apple (I use pink lady)
.🔸 Queen’s SF Blueberry Maple syrup
. Additional ingredients: .(I used these to fill out my macros)
.🔸50g High protein yoghurt (Aldi) mixed with 5g @macr0mike
powdered PB to make a delish topping.
.🔸 10g @hermanbrot
.1️⃣ Cook the apples. I use an air fryer on 200 degrees C for 8 minutes until their slightly golden. You can also bake these
.2️⃣ Toast your bread til golden, I also use the air fryer because it makes it fluffy.
.3️⃣ Sprinkle cinnamon on the hot apples and toast - crucial step, this is what gives it a French toast flavour.
.4️⃣ Top with anything delicious you desire! .
👉🏽 Refeed day was a success! Although I would have liked to have more food during the day, I usually time my carbs around training and have the bulk of my food then. During the week, I also do intermittent fasting where I eat within a 9 hour window, and have bigger meals. Give this delicious creation a track as hot baked apples are up there with my personal faves 🤤

💪🙌!! Getting your shit together takes a level of honesty you can't even imagine. There's nothing easy about realizing you're the one that's been holding you back this whole time...that your lack of discipline and self love is the answer to some of those "why not me" questions you ask.
I hit my rock bottom 10 years ago (left pic) when I was so ashamed of my body I didn't even want to leave the house. I'm grateful for having been in that place because it taught me so much about myself. I know struggle, and how to overcome. Different exterior but same sense of humor (yes, my shirt says "Bucky has a huge wang" 🤣 I'm a Badger fan mmmkk?? 😂), same heart, same soul, but with more confidence, self worth, determination, inner strength and accountability. Always appreciate the journey and how far you've come. ❤
