Balayage from yesterday’s post! Look at this sun kissed hair! 🌞💋
Blonding season has officially begun , my favourite! This most certainly means spring is here!!! ✨
Burnt orange + Bronzy tones 💫♥️ #makeup
Maximum foiling & brightness 🌼 (scroll) To achieve the highest lift I tend to go with babylights, this assures me we get the most out of one appointment. However when going for a balayage look - a rootmelt can be added on to soften & maintain a low maintenance grow out ❤️
Denim and blonde are always in season ✨
It all starts with the correct application and processing! Results tomorrow for this balayage! ⭐️✨
Wake . Pray . Slay ⚡️Get it girl ⚡️
Started with black now we here ✨✨✨
What looks like a subtle result was actually a 2-day appointment, totalling 6 hours of work. Here’s the breakdown:
1st V I S I T - global color application to lift her virgin level 2 base to a warm level 4-5. I could have skipped this step but my guest was showing balayage photos on girls with an overall brown base as opposed to her nearly black base. I did explain that this would also result in a warm balayage and she was on-board!
Zone 1 - @redken
gel lacquers 5N + 20 vol
Zone 2 + 3 - @redken
gel lacquers 6N + 30 vol
2nd V I S I T - low-gradient balayage isolated in foils for even lift and more contrast. Because of her length, I was able to keep my transition long and seamless.
Paint - @oligo
Zone 2 melt - 04N
Zone 3 gloss - 08N + 08V (because I lifted past orange and just had to work with yellow).
Stylist note 📝 It’s important to look at tonal families to ensure everything is working together. She was craving a warm balayage but her natural base was cool and almost black. Had I left it natural, she would have thought her balayage was too warm and brassy in contrast. While I most often work on natural bases, it’s good to know when to shift gears and do something different. Knowledge is power. 💯

Keeping the moms of Pepper looking young 🌷 Here’s my Ma - Partial foils and root blending for grey coverage 💗 We decided to opt out of her usual ashy toner & keep her extra bright for Spring 🌼
I’ve known I wanted to be a hairstylist since a very young again, my mom always stressed the importance of my brother & I going to university - hair school for me was out of the question. We fought for years and years about it, my mom had saved money for me to goto university and it wasn’t going to be used for hair (which you could imagine was extremely upsetting) After years of arguing I decided i would have to take out a student loan and just go. After telling my mother this she came around and agreed to help - since the one thing she hated more than the hair school idea was me being in $20,000 worth of debt. Today my mom is so proud of me, it almost shocks me how much I changed her mind. I worked my absolute hardest to get where I am today and prove to her wrong. It’s important to me that people see the value and importance of this industry. It takes a lot of knowledge & continuing education to do what we do. 💫 Always grateful ❤️
Our Ronnikins (Ronit 🥰) doing a monthly “move-up” on her guest. When you invest in hair extensions, it means committing to the maintenance. What does that entail?! • •
⭐️A monthly “move up” is a 15-20 minute appointment where we readjust your beads closer to the scalp. We don’t remove the thread or beads for this appointment 😊 If we see you every 4 weeks, it helps us ensure that your scalp, hair, and extensions are all on the up and up, and if it isn’t- then we can fix it up or switch some products so that you can get the absolute most out of your install! We truly CARE. 🙏🏼🌹
