I also realized that my brother @isaknej
has pretty photogenic hands (maybe because of all piano? 🤔). So, I'll leave all to him regarding holding something for photo hahah
This was something extra, that is outstanding coming to the interior. A lot of interesting patterns and traditiinal lamps (even the toilets!). They also have a section with many lights for a fancier feeling. High ceiling. Too loud music & noise.
So kind people. Not because they were doing something extra, but all their smiles felt so genuine.
You guys won't believe the huge portions of the main course. For starter, we had Irfans starter with fluffy bread on the side. Sigara böregi - crunchy filled with herbs and slighly lemony. Hummus was different here - not as creamy, and tasted mostly like mashed chickpeas without additional flavour. Zaalouk - rich, flavourful tomato and aubergine combination is recommended.
Monterre Merlot wine was slightly sour, much tannin and felt rough on the tongue.
Lamb shank was great. Interesting combination of savory, meat, dried fruit, nuts, beans and all herbs. New to me, but was great. Fruits giving the sweetness and nuts the crunchiness. Wellcooked rice wirh herbs and butter. Supertender lamb falling of the bone. Give it a go!
