The Sweetfire with grilled chicken, creamy brie cheese, house made beetroot relish and sweet chilli aoli was a spot on combo and so deliscious. The Yankee Doo with crispy southern style chicken was bursting with flavour. The extra crispy chicken with bacon and melted cheese topped with aoli and cos lettuce was so tasty and also a great combo! Such great buns, as well as the extra crispy chips with lots of salt and herbs 😍 These burgers get a 9/10🍔

This week was a total disaster.
You know how you set up goals for yourself and even though you tried to stick to them, you end up just failing miserably? Well, that’s me 🙋♀️ not that I’m proud of it, not at all (just to clarify because the emoji seems happy 🤷♀️) but I am very real with myself and I do know to accept when I fail.
Only 5 days in and I failed, true. But I tried. I tried to stick to the macros I was given but my fat intake which should have been way lower got close to 100g two days. The hospital formulas that were/are supposed to help me, are clearly distressing my body and at the moment I have a calorie deficit of way over -14 000 calories from 2 days (obviously that minus should be a plus 💩)
Now, here comes the TMI part #keepingitreal
to update the people that follow me that care and not just stalk 🤷♀️ (thank you SO MUCH for the support and taking a few minutes of the day to send me a message!) but also because realistically I am not seeing things going well with this ‘treatment’ approach and I can’t give up.
I have spent two days at night in the toilet, I had bleeding 1 day in my stools, I got an Achilles tendinitis out of nowhere and my quads have so many bleeds that I haven’t done a single leg exercise since Monday.
It could be worse. I might have failed but I’m not a failure - I’m human. I spent yesterday focusing on #selflove
even though the love my body gives back to me is none. I may have failed but I’m not giving up (for the millionth time)✌️

Risotto of poached chicken breast + porcini mushrooms w red wine jus.
Usually not some who orders risotto when out, but poached chicken breast was juicy, not dry which was a win. More porcini would've been good as there was only a bit here and there which was dissapointing, the red wine jus was also a nice touch giving the risotto that extra acidity.
It all starts with fresh pasta. Our house made spaghetti, rigatoni or fusilli, or a knock-out gnocchi or ravioli from the 4 Nonnas. Match any of our amazing sauces, top with Grana Padano Parmesan. #dinner
