"Better health for all people."
Stand Down is a one-day event that offers veterans assistance in accessing resources through government organizations, private agencies, and veteran organizations. This is an opportunity for GEPN students, most of whom are new to Connecticut and to health care, to interact with patients outside the acute care setting where they are currently training. This is the 13th year that YSN students and faculty have traveled to Rocky Hill, and many express gratitude for the opportunity to serve those who have given so much to the country. #yale #standdown #veterans #ctveterans #gepn
