’s iconic Sagrada Familia has been under construction for 137 years despite having no official building permit, but it’s finally got the rubber stamp from the city’s planning department.
The license covers the building for seven years – running until its “2026” completion date, which coincides with the 100th anniversary of its architect, Antoni Gaudí’s death. 📸: @umdjpelomundo #architectanddesign
Tag a cat lover! 😻❤️ Taiwanese pet furniture brand Myzoo Studio has created spaceship-inspired cat beds, made of pine wood and featured transparent acrylic windows. This cat bed provides a location for them to look down at us like they always do. Also a nice location for them to nap in and for us to observe with joy. (via our sister account: @p.roduct

– The Pavilion designed by Gianni Botsford is a back garden marvel. Upon entry, you are greeted by a sweeping reception area home to a striking copper kitchen and oculus roof. Separated from the den / living area by a glass wall, the brilliant stretch of water and marble has been fastidiously designed for recreational and aesthetic purposes. Wood-scented, the den is a large, peaceful room, easily adaptable to suit a multitude of needs and moods.

has filled the city of El Alto in #Bolivia
with his distinctive, curvaceous and colorful architecture. He has completed over 60 buildings in this fanciful "Neo-Andean" style, each incorporating a double-height "salón de eventos", or party hall. The kitsch trend, known as "spaceship architecture", is now spreading to other cities across Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. 📸: @tatewaki_nio #architectanddesign
Japanese art collective ‘Mé’ is behind a wonderful installation at the Mori Art Museum. The unbelievably life-like ocean surface rendered in a man made material has the name ‘Contact’. Visitors are able to appreciate up close the ocean’s rolling waves in the confines of the exhibition space.
The work consists of a unique sculpture installed within the confines of a room imitating the swelling of the waves in the sea. The sculpture perfectly captures the texture of the waves as they oscillate. This fascinating work seems alive, its layout in front of a window makes it evolve every moment according to the time and the weather.📍#Tokyo #Japan
