'Don’t be afraid to go somewhere less conventional. Uzbekistan fascinated me not just as a hub on the ancient Silk Road, but also because I’d never really heard anyone talk about it. And I was completely sucked in – the architecture, colours, mosaics and intricate tiles of Samarkand completely overwhelmed my senses. A true hidden gem.’ @thediaryofanomad

‘Indonesia had been top of our crew’s bucket list for a while. We headed to the quiet little island of Nusa Penida to explore dense jungle and beautiful beaches. At some points, the only signs of life were the cheeky little monkeys – it was a wild experience. We stayed in some amazing places on this trip, from villas to hostels to beach bungalows. 'My favourite moment was walking to the edge of Santorini in Oia, where it seems the entire island gathers to watch the sun set each night. It's a daily experience but you'll still hear cheers erupting every time. It was definitely a highlight of our two-month European trip.' @chrispoops

'I’ve been obsessed with ancient Egyptian culture since watching The Prince of Egypt as a kid, but I never thought I’d experience it in person. I'm living out my childhood dreams! If you're travelling by car, just know the driving here is like a video game. There are lane markings on the roads but I think they're just for decoration…' @glographics
