Calling all climbers, golfers, tennis players, desk workers.. The list goes on! Tendinitis in the elbow is caused by repetitive arm movements such as excessive typing or gripping and it can have seriously negative effects on your quality of life as well as your ability to engage in your favourite hobbies! A great way to combat this is with rice bucket exercises. There are several different ways to utilize a rice bucket and it only cost a few dollars to get everything you need! Everyone should set goals. Goal setting gives you long term vision and short term motivation. When setting goals make sure they are SMART! That's Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound. One of my current goals is to be able to do a front lever (exercise in the video) and hold it for 5 secs. I have a ways to go but I have a SMART plan that will help me get there!
Let's talk about feet! The average person takes 5000-7000 steps per day and that number can be much higher depending on your lifestyle. But how many of us take the time to take care of our feet. Next time you're doing rolling out those tight muscles I dare you to put a lacrosse ball under your foot and tell me how it feels!
