There are many reasons we've partnered with Michigan's Northwood University for several years. For one, they offer one of the country's preeminent Automotive Marketing and Management degrees, and the talent coming out of that program is phenomenal.
And while that's great for our company - and the industry as a whole - our relationship with Northwood goes beyond business. Quite simply, we share the same principles. Last night, Cox Automotive President Sandy Schwartz made that clear.
In a keynote address as part of the university's Values Emphasis Week, Sandy spoke to a campus-wide audience of hundreds about the parallels between Cox Automotive's and Cox Enterprises' values, his personal principles, and those outlined by Northwood in their code of ethics: freedom, respect, empathy, spirituality, honesty, achievement, integrity, and responsibility.
This morning, he continued that conversation with students who joined him in the Cox Automotive Solutions Lab for a Q&A.
Cheers to Northwood University for creating this week-long initiative, and congratulations on its 60th anniversary!
