I made it to the top end, northern territory, of Australia. It's beautiful out here in the bush but life is like this photo where you always have to be aware of your surroundings.

There's nothing like sitting by the pool and taking a refreshing dip. This one just happens to be a natural pool below a waterfall.
Standing in front of a waterfall, amazing,... being photobombed by your guide, priceless.
The Cairns area is more than just the reef, there's also the rainforest in the area and the many waterfalls.
Visiting Australia isn't complete without getting into the water and seeing the diverse wildlife of the reef.
So I didn't go "full monty" at Nudey Beach, but I didn't want all that attention either, specially from the law.😉🤙

Seeing the great barrier reef from the air is one thing, staying on an island in the reef is another.
I've finally made it. I'm here at the Great barrier reef where I'll be exploring the area for the next few days.
If you find lakes the shade of turquoise reserved for tropical oceans, then you've found my favorite hiking place.
In order to reach those lofty heights, you've got to apply sweat equity.
