Looking over these photos and proud to see how far I’ve come πŸ’« You probably saw me share the photo on the left as my β€œafter” photo in the past. My aim was to get as skinny as possible, visible abs and thin legs, I just wanted to be smaller. I did HIIT, lots of burpees, lots of jump lunges and squats, lots of ab crunches and mountain climbers but no squats or deadlifts or lat pull downs or rack pulls. I hated my way of training but thought it was the only way to achieve results. I scrutinised every inch of my body, and would only ever take photos in the morning, pre protein shake. I remember being hungry at the gym but because I hadn’t taken my photos I couldn’t eat. It was so ridiculous. I remember I was in San Francisco for 6 weeks in 2016 and I refused to indulge on anything because I was petrified of gaining weight. I remember doing jump lunges in Sophie’s (older sis) apartment and Liz (twin sis) was throwing crisps at my head because I wouldn’t go out and eat with her πŸ˜‚ If you don’t like the way you are training, don’t do it, find something else. I love training now and I honestly look forward to it. Training and dieting for abs did not make me happy. I eat pretty much what I want now and I’m so much happier. I’m not as lean as I once was but this lifestyle suits me so much better!
