An open letter to the editor of @couriermail
Mr Sam Weir
Dear Mr Weir
We are writing to you about your “taste” writer - Anooska Tucker-Evans – online review of our new café .
While we agree there is nothing wrong with a bit of constructive criticism, and in fact we encourage this from all our patrons in our cafes, what your writer has done goes way beyond that and is in fact pure and simple slander and defamation.
Her attempt at wit at the expense of our business is in fact pure sarcasm, and we are all too also aware this is by no means the first time she has done this to other cafes – just search her name @anooskate
on FB .
We at the Venzin Group feel very strongly about this defamation, and will be seeking legal counsel, but we are also aware that smaller cafés do not have the resources to do this.
With that in mind - if you’re a small café owner that has been defamed by this rude and uniformed writer – we would like to hear from you.
Her defamatory comments are not acceptable, and her journalist standards leave allot to be desired (not to mention her grammatical errors)
So if you’re a café owner and would like to stop her from trying to also ruin your hard work and reputation - please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Oh and by the way Anooska – the peas that you attacked and compared to a 98 year old skin (great bit of elder abuse there) are actually are number one on the menu. Giorgina & Chris
