I’ve been thinking intensely these last couple days about #transformation - No matter how along the path we are, we are also very human. And our humanness, our natural fears of this life and all that can and could happen to us is an undercurrent that we continually acknowledge is there. But, through our spiritual or inner work we rise above that fear and replace it with love, surrender, peace, and joyful shifts in mindsets. ♥️ However, a conscious shift is not always enough to truly awaken the brighter energy inside of us. We need RITUAL we need a PRACTICE. We need a place to go, to turn to, to find comfort and to reprogram our fear into love. Make this practice a daily one. A non-negotiable one. So much so, that an automatic calm washes over you when you enter this space. This morning I turned back to my practice. I lit my candle, meditated with my love, read a Christmas passage from the Bible, drew an angel card and focused on all of my blessings. Today.... was better then yesterday 💫 What are your rituals? Your sacred practices? 💫
My first step into the world of #intuitiveeating was this.... giving yourself #unconditional permission to eat what you crave does one thing, IT ELIMINATES THE CRAVING! The permission you give yourself to eat what you want psychologically alleviates the pain of the struggle against it. Also, when you allow yourself the food you are craving you are signaling #trust to your body. And you begin to listen to her and she will in turn begin to relax and support you.
