I call my transformation P to Z (Pumpkin to Zucchini) when I see this picture every time. Being a single parent without support system at home, work life balance got messed up. I turned to FOOD – when I was happy, sad, anxious, depressed, when I was hungry and not hungry. I was so scared to step on that weighing scale only to avoid knowing the reality. I didn’t give a damn about how I looked or felt – but there was one thing that bothered me when I went to bed every night – what if I get a cardiac attack that night? I didn’t want to trouble my lovely 18 year old daughter to call for an ambulance in the middle of the night. So in 2016, I bought myself a wearable device to track my 10000 steps – and was soon off track and the year was gone by. .
January 2017 – I knew I need to seek professional help to get things under control – I was 115 kgs already and shopped XXLs. I came across Iram Zaidi’s profile and I signed up with her immediately. THE BEST thing happened to me is HER. Though I hated green’s at the start(ha ha) – I began the process and I failed on the very third day (hogged chocolate pastry, bananas and what nots). Made a confession and started again. There was no more cheating and honestly there wasn’t any need for that – as Iram’s deep knowledge and expertise on nutrition, and her passion to help her clients achieve their target is evident in her personalized meal plans. I never starved for a day (in fact struggled to finish food on some days). She can understand you,the numbers (updates). Yes, she can.I never miss to update her on time only because she keeps me excited with introduction of new food items, her encouraging words keeps me going. I have had Pastas, Pohas, Bread, plenty of rice, Cream, Fish, now Chocolates – slurrrp !
