Homemade “Healthyish” Mac and Cheese featuring @eatbanaza
Directions for the Mac and Cheese Sauce:
First start with melting down 5 tbsp coconut butter in a sauce pan over medium heat, then add a tablespoon of minced garlic to the coconut butter, next you will add 8 oz of fat free cream cheese and mix until they are combined, then you will slowly add in 3/4 cup of soy milk (or whatever you choose) whisking until combined, next add a pinch or two of pink salt, then you will grated approximately 3oz of @cabotcheese
garlic and herb cheese (or whatever you wish) right into the pan and whisk until combined, lastly you will add one tablespoon of cornstarch again whisking until the sauce is smooth with no clumps. Let the sauce sit over medium low heat for about two minutes then pour all over your pasta and serve! I added dill and a sprinkle of extra cheese to the top of mine.
