The next section of work in High Street will start on Monday 30 July. This will include night works at the High Street/Station Street intersection. Please note, traffic controls will be in place at this intersection from 9pm to 5am, Monday to Friday between 30 July – 24 August. This is essential work needed to upgrade the stormwater drainage system running underneath High Street that will protect the City and local businesses from flash flooding. The essential upgrade works in High Street are ongoing and on schedule, with the next section starting on Monday 16 July. From next Monday, construction will start on the north side of High Street, between Woodriff and Station Streets. Traffic conditions will also change – eastbound traffic will close and westbound traffic will reopen.
