Registrations are open to everyone and will take place between 9am-12pm at Dorothy Radford Reserve in Daniel Parade, St Clair.

Literary lovers are in for a treat when Penrith Library plays host to author Luke Slattery, on Wednesday 2 May between 6.30-7.30pm as part of the Sydney Writers’ Festival.

Today we celebrated the cultural diversity of our city with a Harmony Day event at the Mondo greenspace.
Council staff and members of the Penrith Multicultural Interagency led a short walk around Westfield Penrith starting from the Mondo, in a show of inclusiveness, community and friendship.
This was followed by a light lunch and entertainment, back at the Mondo following the conclusion of the walk. #harmonyday2018 #penrithcitycouncil
At 8.30pm on Saturday 24 March, Penrith Council will be switching off all non-essential lighting at our facilities for one hour in support of Earth Hour.
We encourage everyone to get involved and switch off all your lights at home or work.
Join us on the banks of the beautiful Nepean River this Sunday 18 March from 11am – 4pm at Tench Reserve for the free event, Music by the River. Pull up a deck chair, grab something from one of the food trucks, and enjoy local musicians playing original music and famous favourites.

Penrith City Council today acknowledged the 10th anniversary of the National Apology to Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a ceremony in the Council Chambers.
Penrith Mayor John Thain said that Apology Day reminds everyone to continue to build on lessons from the past to work for better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the future.

Come down to Jamison Park this Sunday to welcome the Queen’s Baton arrival in Penrith and while you’re there why not try out some of the amazing sports we have in Penrith.
There will be free activities families can participate in with our ‘come, try and enjoy’ sports activations zone. Soccer, cricket, netball, basketball, AFL and more will be at Jamison Park.
